In my old pickup 06 Dodge, I really liked to run B20. Got better MPG and was typically cheaper then #2 diesel.
Never got a chance to run the R stuff.

what about some side draft naca ducts instead of the roofduct, to keep the intercooler down low in the bed rail

looking good Johnathan, man taillights are tough
you either get something off a existing car custom fitted or semi-truck-trailer style....

appears to be model specific, my 2023 doesn't have them
1500's don't have them but some canyons and HD's do

I have always found carfax to have worthless info...
If a shop does not report work done to the car (maintenance or collision) it won't be in the carfax. I bought a lease return which had a carfax clean slate, my bad for not noticing the tiniest of overspray couple weeks later wife scrapes a parking block and BAM bumper starts to fall apart and now few years later it's about to drag on the ground. Poor work never reported.

So in the Speed UTV thread @WheresHotBoat got me thinking, HA HA. How did you evolve lets see the pictures from then to now and maybe what's next?
Started duning when I was 3-4yrs old, Oceano in a Manx style buggy. No pics to prove it, yet.

1998-2005ish Duned my Land Rover Freelander with a 2" lift and 29" Mickey Thompsons
2003 bought a beam car Prowlers Sand Sprite 4 Buick 215 V8!
Glamis for the 1st time in 2006 but just rode with my friends.
2006 bought a Rhino, ugh said I'd never do that....
2008 bought a 2nd Rhino, destroyed that rig. Made tons of memories and joined the desert crowd.
FF thru tons of trips...
2016 started hanging with some rock donkeys.
2018 bought a Wildcat XX to finally retire the Rhino's
What's next????
Oh and along the way the wife decided she LOVED boating and we've been thru two jet boats now, ha ha.

wow $800-$1500 for the VDOG https://www.flamingriver.com/vdog-variable-angle-gear
I need something like that for my build but that's out of the budget.... guess I better find the one you mentioned 10 pages back

supper common item for off-road
first idea was you made the stinger the same angle as your approach, so when you got a wall you knew you could/couldn't get wheels on it
2nd idea was in a down hill crash scenario, the stinger would again be the first impact
then it went off the rails for all sorts of uses, combo's, ideas, style to no-style points

Building of the Deberti Van. Thing is wicked cool. Motor looks like fun to work on. I wonder how thick the steel sheet floor panels are.
When these guys were in Bakersfield, they were THE place to go from Honda Drag Cars with custom fiberglass, TRENDZ billet accessories and my favorite Madera Brothers Sand Cars!

In Kern Co / Bakersfield the metal structures like @MeganDad posted are non-permited as long as they are not "permanently attached", which like all dumb .gov stuff you have to secure them or they blow away in the wind, ha ha..... stupid .govs
but yeah everyone pours pads, builds the metal structures and bolts them down....

A lot has changed over the years....
To over night camp on the beach you must get a reservation at https://reservecalifornia.com/Web/ and search for OCEANO DUNES SVRA
No access to OHV area from outside the park. You must trailer all the way in on the beach past the signs Pole 2ish.
Not sure they even have rentals anymore, it used to be huge business.
There is a curfew, no night riding and all kinds of rules to be aware of. http://ohv.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=1207
Creek Closures are prominent now as well.
