As a kid, our neighbors went to Glamis in the early 60's. My first trip was late 60's. Enjoy every trip we get to take. We've been there on busy weekends, and days when we were the only people. We've seen a flash flood, reptiles, side-winder snakes, turtles, and bee swarms. We've broken things on our cars, and hauled a welder and generator out to where they broke so we could fix them and stay. We've enjoyed the camping with both family and friends, and we always seem to make new friends. We pick-up trash every time we stop, and we have been to every one of the clean-ups. We won an ASA raffle car at the SSSS in 2011 and we still drive it in the dunes, we just don't get there as often as we would like.
