Starting to notice a lot of little mistakes I've made in the design of the house. Well, let's just say the mistakes were made by Architect / Builder / Design Team / Subs. Well, Ok, ME! I've never built a house before so forgive me. I walk out doors and reach on the wall to flip a switch and it's on the other side of the wall. Little things like that. Areas where I expect a light switch isn't there. You can't predict where you'll be walking in the house until you move in and live. "I would have put a switch here / switch there" seems to be my thing lately. Also lighting. Got way too much light in the house. Need dimmer switches apparently. Need an "IRON" to iron things out. Anyone? HA! Not a negative post  Reality post. House is amazing. Keep Y'ALL posted! Guest rooms are almost completed. DON'T come yet. (That's what she said) Peace

I built a office for a guy in a wheel chair and we designed the switches for him and the city said we had to change the plans because they weren't compatible for handicap. We I told them he is handicap. They go you have to change them, so that office has a lot of three way switches. More than one way to skin the cat. DON~~~

  2. The dunes are the best after a big blow, like riding on the moon, no tracks to follow. Been there done that, I have stayed in the trailer for a couple days waiting for the wind to stop. DON~~~

Having grown up on the “rim” I haven’t seen snow like this since I was a kid. Might be one of the best snow seasons they have had in 20+ years and lord knows they needed it.

went to fish black canyon lake last spring and it was nothing but a puddle. Was worried we might lose the lake if it was another dry winter.

btw great pics and it almost makes me miss our old long track. Every time my dad stuck that pig my brother and I were the luck hand shoveler to get it out.

I was in Utah this summer and all the lakes look like puddles, they are getting the big snow also. DON~~~

  5. Good work out, like riding a quad at the sand dunes, I remember riding my LT500 at the dunes for a couple days. By Sunday afternoon I made sure my son Jeff was close by in case I killed the motor in the dunes as I was too tired to get it started. It was bored and stroked and I ran it on Alky so it was real hard to start. DON~~~

Went out on a hike from the house to check out some flowers I can see from a distance.

They are daisies not poppies. Here are some pics....

  7. Many years ago before battery powered lawn mowers my wife had a small lawn in the back yard and the motor blew up on her lawn mower, I threw the motor away and made a adaptor for a old 110v cooler motor. She ran that thing for years without and problems until she decided the grass was more work than enjoyment. DON~~~

Teach her to lock all doors while fueling up / always have your hand on the pump and quickly be able to pull it out and pull back the safety and be able to douse anyone threating them with gasoline from head to toe. You would be surprised how differently someone who is covered in fuel behaves

That SUCKS she had to go thru that / Its unreal how dangerous getting gas has become. Dirt bags EVERYWHERE wanting $$$ and getting aggressive. Its NUTS

We have gone soo far over the edge that I am not sure it can ever be corrected.

I told my kids and wife / LOCKED Doors / head on a swivel / Look for a way out and always have hand on pump soo you can rip it out and use it against an attacker......sucks but its the new reality

I seen someone on youtube do that, what a great idea. DON~~~

Well what did they learn? Wind currents. Will we respond? Response time, Probably had air sampling devices that can collect air samples. We sent/send balloons over russia and china for years to find out if they were testing nukes or other weapons based on air samples. If china has ideas of war, no doubt first strike would be chemical/biological. And it appears a device would go completely unnoticed/unmolested until its over montana or the eastern seaboard.

They now know wind currents and rate of spread. From our media and social media the see americas attitude and ineptness on matters of defense and understanding

All stuff their satellites don’t collect.

the most important thing was. We may have missed it. We did nothing. And 80% all the american keyboard jockies are laughing and joking haha no big deal. We painted ourselves paper tigers

Not only that if they wanted to hide it they would have painted it blue to match the sky. White stands out, everyone can see it. DON~~~
