I did have an urgent need which I sought out a cash doctor and boy that sure is a different world.. things happened in days, not months..
And just for the record, we have pretty decent EPO insurance. We get to choose between UCSD Scripps and Sharp..
It's fux0red is all I have to say but that has been said for over two decades.
Pretty soon I'll be flying to Mexico for my healthcare services (some plans cover care in Mexico).

Healthcare chiming in...
Seeing a progressive decrease in insured folks exercising their insurance benefits (i.e. they're not getting preventative care services). The un-insured volume has been steady but they DGAF.

Not sharing to throw shade...
We did a tare down to the plywood in March. Home is 4,400; the 4-car detached garage building 2100.
No plywood needed replacing. ~$26k with all TOTL GAF products- underlayment, boots, etc. using their newest UHDZ shingles. Their VP came out to inspect it all as we were one of the first in E. TN to get these shingles.

The Atlanta guys and South Carolina shops seem to have a way of getting what they want. I say that based on what they've built.
