I have multiple forklift attachments but not one dedicated for my fifth wheel.  I did however weld a 4 inch tube about 6 inches tall on the end of one of my attachments.  I use that to capture the fifth wheel pintle.  I have 38 Monaco dune chaser with full slides and my 5-6K toyota forklifts cant do it. It lifts the rear tires off the ground. I have a 12k forklift and it does great.

    Hope this helps.

thank you very much for the replay. im sure there is not much difference between your toyota lift and my hyster. so dont think my lift is big enough for the trailer,

  2. i have a 2009 weekend warrior 3505 5th wheel, 35ft triple axel. i keep in one of my warehouses at work. was thinking it would be easier to move in and out with my forklift rather than my truck, plus my truck is not my daily driver. thought if i could get an attachment for cheap that would be ideal. has anyone used something like this before, i know the RV lots use lifts all the time. my lift is hyster rated at 5000 lbs, propane, solid (cushion) tire lift. saw this one on amazon and thought its basically what im looking for and at $350 its not bad, cheaper would be better but not sure what the price range normally is. would something like this work? im thinking i would have to drill small holes in the fork to get it to stay attached unless there is another way that is done. any help would be appreciated i dont know anything about these.

  4. i paid 17500 for my 2009 just about 1 year ago, and mine was not in as good of condition as yours is based on the pics. on the facebook WW group alot of these are going up around 23k if everything is in working order as it should be. and you are including the hitch, i paid $900 for my BW patriot sliding hitch. if you are looking for a faster sale 20k is a great number but very possible you could get a little more out of it. the drive over fenders are a good bonus, mine does not have that. wall sag was an issue with these and alot of people want to know if the upgrade to fix that has been done, even if the trailer has sag or not.

  5. on the fine thing... this could be a bit of a stretch but california vs greenwood concluded that once the trash is on the street its public domain. at my house its just me and my daughter every other week, my trash can is rarely full, normally just one kitchen trash bag. my neighbors use my can all the time when theirs is overflowing. so how can they prove it was you once the can is on the street where anyone has access to it. the cans are also not property of the user, they belong to the disposal company, so cant really call them private. feel like the could be some argument there. also at the top of my cul de sac we normally put all our cans together in one spot, its easier for the driver, not sure someone looking would know whos can is whos, when we have multiple trash, recycling and green waste cans out.

  6. i bought a 2009 WW 3505 at the beginning of last season. it needs a little work but so far nothing major. i really didnt want that big of a trailer but it was hard to find a smaller one that the 4 seat turbo S would fit in.  i have an 09 crew cab duramax standard bed. i got the BW patriot hitch with a slider but i have yet to need the slider. i live at the top of a cul de sac and can just make the turn without needing the slider. one little side note on the BW parriot slider, its a little too much slide, it will just hit the tailgate when it slides back. if i raise the head of the hitch to the highest position its ok but i like to have it in the middle position out of the 3 options it levels out the trailer just a little more. i do plan on adding tow bags to help eliminate the sag on the truck. im pretty much maxed out on what my truck should tow when the rzr is in it and its full of water. but i live near palm springs and pretty much only go to glamis so its a nice straight drive. the trailer does not have all the nice fancy stuff the new trailers do, this one does not even have a TV in it, i also dont have a fueling station. the previous owner took it all out, no idea why. i just replaced the tank for the generator. still have some more work to do it but for its age is not a bad trailer. its also just me and my daughter so i dont have alot of stuff packed in it and nice to have the extra room.

  7.  back when i was in the mini trucking scene normally the first thing the person would do when they bought a truck was change the wheels, wheels are a personal preference, and it makes the person feel like its more their truck now. to me that truck would be perfect on bags and 20's maybe even staggered 20s and 22s

you might get more attention with a set of 20s on it but i doubt you would get more money for it just because of the wheels.

  8. my daughter likes little arts and crafts stuff. stickers, things to make bracelets. little stuff like that. i get her a bunch of that stuff on the site, its crazy cheap. she has fun looking at things and putting them in her cart. yesterday i got everything that was in her cart and it was $20. and she was super happy i got them for her.

not going to trust auto parts from there but i dont think its all bad stuff on the site.

whole fam runs the carbon fiber impact helmets. super pricey but nothing compares to this helmet.  so light it feels like you're not wearing one. can not put a price on your safety is how

    I justified the costs

did a quick search and found a bunch of different ones, what one do you use? im susceptible to concussions and i need a light helmet. i have been waiting to switch to a full face but have not found one as light as my fly motorcross helmet.

I've recently gotten a wild hair to try skateboarding, no idea why, but I can't seem to shake it. I can snowboard pretty well, and wakeboard when I get the chance but have never been successful at attempting to skateboard. Do any of you skateboard or have experience with it? I think through research I should start on a larger cruiser as I'm not really looking for tricks, just riding around, maybe some ollies and bowl riding, but am open to suggestions. Thanks ahead of time, the recent motorcycle post made me decide to ask here.

i was very good on a snowboard but could not skate at all, a ollie up a curb is the best i ever did. i liked just riding around on my board, i ended up giving my board to a neighbor kid. i been starting to get back into flatland BMX, i still have my dyno from the late 90s. good luck hope you have fun.

  11. try to keep it short....

halloween is the season kick off weekend. late septemeber can still be a bit hot out there. even halloween can still be warm. i think yuma is still 30-40min drive away, kinda far for leaving your stuff unattended in an open desert.

by some of the camping areas there are bathrooms but no showers, and im not sure if the bathrooms will be open before season starts.

as for paddles people sell them on here, gilmores off road in glamis sells them as well but i dont think they will be set up in september. if making the drive, there are plenty of places in AZ that you can get a set.

if coming for your first time i think it would be best to push your trip back so you are out there during season. vendors will be set up if you need anything and more people around to offer help if needed.

Edison and the power companies charge differently on where you live, freakin bullshiat.  For example, Palm Springs Electricity rates are 60% lower per kilowatt than coastal areas.  Why???  This drives me crazy.

i live in palm springs area and used to have Eddison. the rate is lower is because the usage is much higher, also the winter and summer rate times are different out here. the winter usage rates start in october. most times in oct we are still well over 100 deg every day. one year i was already in the highest tier pricing on the 3rd day of the month. i have not been on edison for 7 years but even back then my bills were $600-700 a month, i would hate to see what they are now. now i live in a different part and i have IID that runs off the windmills. this summer my bills doubled. before my highest bill was around $250 this summer is was up over $400. i keep the AC on my house set at 82 when im not home and the lowest i put it at is 78 when i go to bed.

  14. its not the time in glamis that gets me its the set up to get there and the clean up when i get home. its only me and my daughter (11) so i do all the loading and unloading, and cleaning when i get home. plus i work alot, so the week before i try to get some stuff done every night. im normally tired by the time i get out there. i have alot of issues with sleep so i dont sleep much in glamis, but lucky for me i dont really drink either that there really saves me.  this new years trip. got home sunday night, unloaded the trailer, but cleaned everything monday, it was so nice having that extra day off work with the holiday. some trips i will only take unload the extra food and clothes. and leave everything thing else in the TH, its stored in my warehouse at work so im not worried about anything getting stolen. the rzr can go a couple trips with out getting washed. but this new years trip it need it after the dew and the little rain.

I dont think its the service. Its about how many people are there at any given time. Vets was real bad.

halloween weekend i struggled to load anything on my phone even the weather app. a bunch of times my phone went to no service.  just this past weekend no issues at all.
