  1. The time has come for me to let my faithful 3 wheeler go to the next owner.

I have owned it for 40 years and it has been super reliable.

I will miss it but there’s no way I should be allowed back on it at my age,

the fact is that it probably has not been ridden 10 hours in the last 20 years.

    the good,

engine runs strong, only had the cylinder off to replace leaking head gasket and ring about 20 years ago.

fmf silencer and k&n air filter, otherwise stock.

carb. and air filter just cleaned, gearlube changed.

comes with paddles, original gold wheels and extra set of dirt tires.

current green sticker, pink slip in hand.

includes original owners manual and chain adjustment tool.

    not so good

original seat has a hole in it, has aftermarket rear fender.

    gold wheels have some damage.

front fender will need to be replaced at some point.

bike is 100% ready to ride tomorrow and I will let it go to the first person with 2500$ cash.

thanks for looking, Dino. 7147496579, located in lake havasu

  2. one of the best who could go head to head with Earnhardt

Yarborough barely missed out on his fourth championship in five years, losing the championship to Dale Earnhardt by 19 points. At the end of the season ...

Former NASCAR Cup winner Robby Gordon eyeing road-course return - Reports
Former NASCAR Cup winner Robby Gordon eyeing road-course return - Reports© Provided by Sportskeeda NASCAR

Iconic Robby Gordon seems to be gearing up for a return to the NASCAR scene.

A motorsport fan recently shared a snapshot featuring Gordon's former ally, who collaborated with him from 2008 to 2016.

According to the tweet, the veteran driver isn't ready to bid farewell to NASCAR or Indycar just yet. The insider spilled the beans on a recent conversation with Gordon, revealing that the 54-year-old racing legend has contemplated a return, specifically for the Indy 500 and road courses in the NASCAR top series. The tweet read:

"So you want a fun fact that make his fans smile and so on…. Robby isn't done with Nascar or Indycar as well lol recent talk with him. Few weeks ago. Tho if he returned it would be for Indy 500 and for road courses in NASCAR top series."

The tweet went on to shed light on Robby Gordon's mindset, indicating that he has been researching the costs involved in building or acquiring a current Cup car and an Indy car. It continued:

"Robby at 54 years old still feels like he can win in NASCAR and so on. He feels like his brands will bring him and his son the funds to run competitively and so on. So might see Robby returning to the big races on tv soon and. then see Max there. I do know Robby has been researching what it cost to build (buy and slap together) a current cup car and Indy car again….sooo full circle might come."

Had a stacker. Four Quads and a SXS. Lots of work to load and prep (enjoyed every minute of it) then......the kids grew up and went on their own journey. Sold the stacker. Sold the quads. Bought a 70 / a SXS / and trying to grow some testies to get another Quad. I'm done. Peace

grow some really big testies and buy one of these!

I have to be honest with you, we used to make fun of any dude that drove those..............but the teenage chicks driving them were usually pretty hot.  For some reason, this car is super cool to me now.

I would try to fix it................how much would a swap cost?  Lots of VW experts in Ca, not sure what AZ has to offer.  To me it is even worth a tow to VW paradise in San Marcos before I would do a swap.

    Don't sell.

I agree, looks like a clean car, just needs the right mechanic to dia.

we use mesa west in costa mesa for all of  our old vw stuff

I just did this with my TBSS. Family home in Havasu.

Grabbed a copy of electric bill.

Walked into DMV, paid $280 for 5 year registration (was $290 for the year in CA).

Walked out in 10 mins with temporary plate in hand.

Had to shop around for insurance, but landed on State Farm for $500 for year. AAA here in CA was $540 year, but wanted $900 for AZ.

Still have CA DL. If they pull me over, the vehicle is registered to family home in AZ where it spends most of its time, but I have it here in CA temporarily to work on it. I still have a daily driver registered in CA.

Could not have been easier, and now I have an American flag AZ plate with the word "FREEDOM" in big bold font across the bottom.

thats what i did, state farm in phx. hooked me up

    cal dl, az ID card

  8. first hand experience, wheeled with a fj awhile back, the toy was able to out climb my wj,

due to the traction control when right front wheel was off the dirt i watched the brakes apply

and the left took over and up he went

also I have seen driveshaft disconnect systems and they seem reliable

so dont let the flat tow thing scare you away from the toyota of your dreams.
