  1. looking for a Gen 4 or 5 Funco . LS or turbo suburu with 2D or better. 40K or less. Anything out there? Getting back into the sport
  2. Alright, I want to install an air tank, valves, lines, and gauges so I can adjust pressure on the fly for conditions and fun. Whats Funco using and whats available online. I have bagged cars in the past but I want small, new, clean and looks. I have the compressor onboard already. A tank would be nice. Ive filled more tires in the dunes for people then I expected and the pump on its own is slow.
  3. So I just bought a friends rail, the car has not been to the dunes since 2015. I have spent the last couple of days dropping the fluids, changing filters, greasing CVs etc. I pulled the timing belt covers and blew out the belt area (very little sand). The car had a rebuild by Gary in 2011, and on the receipt is a new timing belt. The following 4 years the car was in the sand maybe 16 times. Pictures are attached of the belt... How do you tell if it needs to be replaced?

  5. I have a 2.2 turbo subaru SOHC. Runs great but starts hard sometimes. Turn on ignition and the exhaust pops. Hit starter switch and turns slow and labored like getting back pressure. When it starts acts like flooded. Runs rough and smokey. Once that clears up (30 secs) runs great. Timing is correct and starter is good. When I switch the ignition switch on and it does not pop starts perfect. Doesn't matter if its hot or cold. I think I will check for bad injector...maybe stuck open??
