Losing a good friend. Taps to Coobie.

Just watched a GD party video with Coobie. He told me a joke that I had forgotten.

Coobie: A Mexican and Black are both inside a car. Who is driving?

Me: The Black because he's high on weed while the Mexican is drunk on beers.

Coobie: Wrong!

Me: Who then?

Coobie: /with smirk/ The Cop.

Missing @Coobie !!! Was talking the other day with family and some funny campfire COOBIE stories started Rolling !!!!

WAY TOO YOUNG TO NOT BE HERE!!!!! SUCKS!!

I really hope hes in a better place and at peace looking down !!!!! He is truly missed!!
 
I told a buddy a Coobie story this past Saturday !!! I miss that guy ! Soo many GREAT times had with such a kind hearted friend!!!

Makes you think....all those "old" guys that would laugh and say "enjoy it son, these are the good times..it'll be a memory soon"..... they were right.... Call your friends, make some time, Enjoy the moment......RIP to ALL our friends that are missing the new season down here.
 
I still don't understand the pain it takes to do this to yourself. I always said shitty things about people that did this, but I know he loved his son, and he was a strong-minded man... I know he had demons, but don't we all...Still doesn't sit right with me, but I am glad his pain is over.

None of this sits right with me, either. Matt was an amazing person with visible strength most of us have never had to utilize. From stories told by him, he had been through so much previously and had overcome things most would not have, in the way he did. I have a fraction of the time with him that others did here, but still was fortunate enough to have MANY hours of my life in his presence. We got along great and he helped me out a few times when he didn't have to.

One day I noticed he removed me from his Facebook friends list around the middle of the last decade. We had no issues at all... I found it odd and tried to keep up with what he was up to, regardless. While digging, I noticed he moved to NC and appeared to be going through a divorce but was stoically focusing on Hunter and all they were doing together. Things seemed like they were going well until I saw the news here.

Just as Realbadlarry pointed out... I truly regret not reaching out more, if at all.

Make a list of your friends and keep in touch. This situation clearly shows how much we all tend to miss...
 
Suicide is a breaking point that only that Individual can understand, it's the most personal activity a person can do....that impacts literally everyone they knew...

Everyone has a breaking point, everyone.

As Men we need to simply be there for each other and listen and watch for the littlest signs....because allot of us will never let others know....and then bam, gone.

Sometimes you simply can't change the course of it....but try regardless.

Miss you bro.

This. I came w/in simply having to pull the trigger. Glad I didn't and I will NEVER put myself in a situation in which I'm at the mercy or will of anyone.
