Toyhaulers That Fit Long Travel Sandrails

I had a FB 26 and my gen 3 Funco, fit in no problem, with a full size quad in it as well. Shortest toy hauler that can fit a full size car.
That's great information to know there are "shorter" trailers out there that can fit a full size car. Thanks for sharing.

You will for sure have to back in/winch in.
I had that trailer and once I got a rail, which I drove in straight, I could never get the sway to stop when going over 55mph.
I had anti sway in my hitch etc.
I went to a 5th wheel and never looked back.
I thought it was just me with the FS3000. Even with the heavy tongue weight empty I had to be as far forward with the sxs to prevent sway. I definitely learned from trial and error what worked and didn't pretty quickly.

What rail did you have at the time you had this trailer? I didn't think one of these would be able to fit a rail. Do you exceed the trailer's GVWR with a rail in it?
I had a Sandtrix, 4 seater, LS1, 2D etc. I was right at GVWR with the rail in it.

I've been considering a new 5th wheel TH but with a Garage model......you can find the length (minimum 16') from Alliance, Momentum, Brinkley....but the issue is the width....every one of those manufacturers mentioned...92" Ramp Door openings WTF!!!
So you have to check the width, my current Genesis 3818IKS (open floor plan) fits my Rail with no issues even with a slide so their garage model won't be an issue if I go Genesis again, the Raptor's have a 96" Ramp Door opening so I want to check those out as well.
Also, beware if the trailer has the 3-season door options and even the Ramp Patio Kit, both of those options affect the length and width dramatically in some cases.

A few years ago I spoke with dunesport and they said they could build a trailer with a 100" opening.
A couple of the race trailer manufacturers will build a 102" opening trailer. IE King race trailers.

The shorter trailers usually have either a front bath (FB) or front kitchen (FK) but everyone wants the front bedroom (FS), Once you get to a certain age climbing down a ladder in the middle of the night to pee is no longer an option.

A front bathroom with the twin electric bunks would be a nice trailer to find, good luck.

Stay away from the FS3000 lol 30ft bumper pull isn't fun to tow. not to mention you look at them funny and they fall apart or the front or rear caps blow off. I sold mine a few years back.

I have a Next Level 38CK and back it in with a winch. Tows like a dream and lots of room to spare.

My Wuerth car is 15' long, 120" WB, about 85" wide in the front and with trailer tires on in the rear fits right between the wheel wells. with the trailer tires on its probably 77ish inches wide in the rear. front width clears with no issues at all.

Also back in the day my dad had a WW FB2600 and he backed his Tatum Evolution into it. Engine cage would hang over the kitchen floor area but still no issues. that car was about 15' long too. the FB2600 was a much better unit than the FS3000.

Thanks for the input. What about the FB2600 is so much better than the FS3000?

Pros
4' shorter trailer with the same length of storage
Two axels for the 26 and three for the 30, changing four tires every five years is much cheaper than 6
Cons
You're going to be climbing a ladder to go to bed
No Outside storage, the Jimmy Hoffa as I call it under the front bed was the selling point on my first trailer and while on my new trailer I still have one it's not a pass thru, so its even more of a Jimmy Hoffa ( A Jimmy Hoffa is a storage bin where you throw something in there and never see it again)
