Sponsored by the "Great Horned Owl", The First To Fly will be the first of 3 qualifying races for the 2007/2008 season. The top 10 will qualify for this years GNC.
The Time had come to find out who could be the Best In The Sand. With so many buggy drivers that are members on the website, there was no way to do it in 1 EPO. There had to be qualifiers. The Race for the GNC was set. There would be 4 EPO events. The top ten from the first three would qualify for the final; The Glamis National Championship. As always, the EPO’s are a run what ya brung event. Long travel versus mid-travel; 4 cylinder versus 8. Anything goes, and anything can happen.

The Great Horned Owl
During the winter time, courting Great Horned Owls fill the nighttime air with hooting songs of love for each other. The females have a slightly higher pitch. Owls cannot rotate their heads 360 degrees, only 270. The eyes are fixed in their sockets, unable to move up, down, or even side to side. The Great Horned Owls have a hunting move called the “perch and pounce”. Mr. Owl sits high on a perch, listening with his horned ear tufts (hence the name), then silently swoops down and pounces on its prey.
They eat various kinds of foods in Glamis, but they love the cotton tail rabbit the most!
First to Fly - The beginning of the 2007/2008 season. Top qualifiers move to the GNC - Tough racing for sure.
