This event would begin the saga of the Buggy EPO showdowns. The stage was set, the warriors were prepared for battle.
As the morning sun rose, the anticipation grew. The talk and chatter had quieted down. What was in store for our drivers? Unknown. The butterflies began to churn as the trail was carved to our destination. Enter, THE UNDERGROUND SHOWDOWN.
As ther flaggers took their positions, you could here the faint singing of the National Anthem; enough to give you goose bumps. Mother Glamis had provided us with the arena, and now the challenge was set. Hitting a bush or cone meant seconds added to your time. And with the level of competition on this day, you had to be alert and on top of your game.

This EPO meant a lot to the Slapster, and he thanks every single person who showed up to help sndsamplr and his staff. GLAMISDUNES.COM THANKS YOU EPO MEMBERS. You all are now part of an elite group. Hold your head up high, because people will look to you as examples and leaders of how to respect and treat each other and treat and respect our beloved Mother Glamis.
Safety was top priority in this event, and Slap hopes that sndsamplr succeeded in bringing you a fun, competitive event. Thanks to Mr. Red Tail for hosting it, and sndsamplr for running it. Thanks to Tom Simrak for bringing his cameras out; we will soon see the finished product.
We all left Mother Glamis clean and in good shape. We learned how to dune a little better, and treat our Mother G critters with care and respect. Good job EPO members, this day was yours.
