From the "not because I wanted too" file. Our kitchen is on the back of our house and there is a 2" pipe that runs to the front of the house to meet up with the main. There is a little dip in this that creates a backup if we are not diligent with keeping crap out of the sink.
I know all of thw 5W's so I did some research and this guy is a decent machine for light jobs, so I went for it. Yes it's a China freight, POS, but for the cost/value/quality it's an effective option.
I ran it out until it was about 30' out and sure enough it hit the gunk and broke it up. Out and in a few times, agove the hose down @ wide open and it was good to go.
Nothing like the planning on the location of the sprinkler manifold/cleanout right??? LOL

That is the magic ingredient to make them not crack from the sun...

The blower and the pole saw both come with the 8.0 battery and the higher amperage "quick charger". I have not run the blower out of battery yet, but my front driveway is pretty small.

Doing some honey Do's in the morning, after dropping mama off at the airport, going to a work party in Ramona.
Sunday cleaning up the back yard and organizing the trailer to get ready to move my youngest up to Irvine.

Here is the previous buy. It got good reviews but not great. The guys trying to blow a whole yard with of leaves down a driveway said it's not got enough air. IMO that the job for a gas powered tool... for cleaning out the garage, blowing out the trailer and getting the sand out of thw buggy.... it works great.
I thought about getting a second one and using them as a JATO. LOL.

I don't know about you folks, but I enjoy getting new tools. Not just getting the tool, but doing the research about them, finding their strengths and weaknesses. It reduces the chance of me doing an impulse buy, and hating my decision.
Some of you know the reason behind this one....
So.... show your newest tool score, and if there was any key information you found that helped you to it.
I went away from Dewalt a year or so ago after burning up yet another drill. The Milwaukee stuff I've bought has been SOLID. This pole saw got great reviews and takes the same battery that new blower does. I did a couple of little spots to see how it worked, and so far so good. I will know for sure this weekend.

Sometimes it's just easier to.throw it on the flatbed VS trying to get the stacker/toter out, if all your doing is taking it in to get the carbs dialed in (again)...
there is a track in palm desert that a bunch of them rich dudes go out and beat on their penis extentions. My former team owner being one of them. LOL.
That van.... lmao. I'm waiting for Mr T to come around the corner.
