  1. Pretty sure I live less than a mile from you. I have that SCU you can drive any time you want.....if you get the urge. It's in the garage on a lift. I'm not using it anyway.....

but it still make me feel good when I walk under it. Much cheaper than therapy (so I hear).

For every door that closes, another one opens.

  2. I'm not really positive what causes it in Ram trucks. Lots of theory out there. Really ate up the cam and sent that free range metal to all four corners.

If you're thinking about something with a hemi, Modern Muscle Extreme .com is worth a visit. That's where we sourced the parts. Faster than waiting on OEM.

  3. I ain't no expert. But I did take auto shop in High School. My personal experience with Hemi Tick in a 6.4 is pictured below. Looks like the needle bearing in the roller went away which allowed the ears that support the trunnion to dig into the cam lobe. A new engine fixed it all up. There's plenty of internet dribble on the causes and measures you can take to prolong engine life. It might be Google worthy after you get 100,000 or so miles on your new ride.

If I use my 30% rebate

You use the word "rebate". Is it actually a tax credit? If so, make sure you understand how to use your tax credit or your tax accountant gets the pertinent information when he/she files for you.

  5. They are extremely quiet and have an electronically activated deadbolt that attaches to the track on the side of the opener. I've had them added to all of our garage doors (3). Battery back-up, so if power is off you can still open/close your garage without having to screw with the emergency pull (good for wife, kids and oldsters.)

One of the best upgrades we've done to our garage. Really cleans up the garage ceiling.

Building code where I live requires 110v power supply pretty close to the drive unit, so there was some conduit and switch boxes involved. It was as good of a time as any to upgrade all garage outlets, add stainless face plates and switch from fluorescent to LED lights.

So then can we quit buying the AZ OHV tag if it is a dunes only vehicle and ridden in Cali? My buggy and MC are that way. That is $25 each vehicle so if we don't need it any longer it will basically be a wash.

It has been my experience that if you let your OHV tag lapse, AZMVD increases your vehicle license tax from $3.00 to whatever the depreciated MSRP on the vehicle you're trying to re-new is. So it goes up a bit from the current $5.45 annual fee. Check it out before you let them lapse. Either way, the Government's going to take as much of your money as it can.

  7. If it's a motorcycle plate, MVD hammers you for the registration fee (at the normal depreciated "MSRP" value of the vehicle) when it's time to renew if you don't keep the off-road designation current. Game & Fish links with MVD, so they know. An example with my SCU was $500.00+ renewal W/O the off-road, $5.25 renewal fee with the off-road current. I bout shait my pants when I discovered that little piece of information

I don't know what happens if you have the Az RV or regular Az plate.

Our government employs some of the best pick pockets in the universe.

I'm usually pretty agreeable with what you guys have to say. But not in this case. WTF.......do you like Eco-Freaks?

I'd put them in feet first.

  9. I get the idea that, before long, the rest of the world might not have that hatred towards Americans any longer. They may actually start to feel sorry for us.

The Ugly American will be replaced with The Stupid American. Hmmmmm..........TSA. Good name for a film. This time it'll be a documentary.

  10. That guy has the reaction time of a sloth. Some people act. Some people react. Some people just sit there & $hit themselves. Took him 70 seconds to get out of his truck.

"I put the "fire" out with a bottle of water."          "At that moment I said a prayer for her."

Not a bad jump though. Looks like she got about 198 feet of air from the north curb line of Pease Rd. Stuck the landing too. Car might be totaled.

    🙏🙏🙏🙏  Hope these help.
