  1. We love Laughlin!!!!!

Not the craziness of Vegas and I don't have to be 25 with 6 pack abs to fit in at the pool.

We chill at the pool all day and then hit Losers Lounge inside the casino of the Aquarius.  It is now closed due to COVID, but was a blast!!!!!

Good for you, I am 6 years away.  Watching love ones passing in their mid 70's has motivated me to retire sooner than later....................

    Totally agree with this.

After seeing what happened to my parents, decided years ago that I was going to live life like I want and enjoy.  Trips, toys, dunes, vacation time etc.  Doing it all now.  Might be broke in retirement, but money does no good if you can't spend it.

Also, I think Lincster has a wide gear for sale.

    LOL.  I did.

The fab work to change over to my S4 was going to be ALOT more than originally thought according to Kevin McMullen.

Not willing to spend that kind of coin on it.

So I bought spare parts for the Fortin and I am going to continue to rock it!!!!!  LOL.

I can buy alot of spare parts for the cost of doing the switch.  The spare parts are sitting in my garage and Kevin can crank out a rebuild in 1 day.  So I won't miss any trips.  🙂

I was going to say, I have my S4 for sale, but it is already spoken for, once R&Ps actually come in.  Which is going to be a while according to Weddle.

  4. Changed all of my food 2 years again after doc said I am going to be diabetic.

    Lost 45 lbs.

Eat less than 2000 calories a day.
Less than 15 grams of sugar a day.
I will have to pay attention to sodium after reading this.
Blood work looks good now. I check it twice a year.
Agred on how little food we really need.

  5. Disagree about the 8 vs 10 comparison for getting to Glamis.

I used to take the 8 all the time, agree that it is less stress, but taking the 10 is faster by 30 mins for me.

Plus going up Ogilby will destroy any trailer suspension you may have.

If you work in Scottsdale and want property close to work, you are going to pay out the nose for something like that.

For decent price, you are going to have to go on the outskirts of town, in any direction, and then have a commute.

  6. Beautiful area. Very scenic.
    Small dunes.
Me and my buddy ran from 1 end to the other in about 8 min. Lol

As said, super soft sand. He got stuck once. I just laughed at him.
    Still cool to experience.

  7. Before COVID, I had great luck with their customer service.

I had bought a throttle body and it didn't take the GM AIC.

I called and they said they had a bad batch of throttle bodies and they knew of the issue.

They gave me a PN for a AIC that would work.

Fast forward 1.5 years later and I was having issues with cold start/idle that my tuner figure out was the AIC.

Called Holley and they sent me a new TB, machined correctly to use the GM AIC, at no charge.

Stand up to take care of me after 1.5 years.
