Looking at getting my son his first car and have a hard time trusting what people tell me when it comes to the history of a car. I have got my eye on two cars right now but would like to be able to see any history on them. Any have access to Carfax and able to run a couple reports for me before I go take a look at them? Would greatly appreciate it. I can PM the VINs.

I am in need of some help. I am trying to order up some headers for the LS I am swapping into my 69 Suburban. Problem is wonderful CARB won't let the manufacture ship to CA (even though there is no emissions on a 69 Burban FML). So I am looking for someone in AZ I can ship these to that is then making a trip out the San Diego/El Cajon.

Father in law has the same router. The wire going into the handle takes a lot of stress (bending and flexing) and looses connection with the switch. A little wiggle and she comes back to life. One of these days I will take it apart and fix it. 

Anyone have a hook up on split braided wire loom (Techflex F6 or similar) or have some left over from previous projects. I am looking to rework the harness on the LQ4 I am working and with all the different sizes and minimum lengths they are sold in (that I would probably only use half of) it is just out of my budget to just order it up from Summit or Wirecare.

I have read seen this stated in multiple places so I am not sure how much trouble they will have banning it in those states.

I liked the fact that panels were made here.

It took Edison 9 months to switch me over, so I had to pay the bill like normal. Solar Max was NO help there. 

When Edison figured out I had solar I find out I owe them over $1,000. I now average $200 a month. Again Solar Max was NO help.

Not happy with Solar Max OR Edison. I had 18 panels on my last house and loved them then.

 

Why did you owe them $1000? Surprise fees?

Insurance is higher in AZ 

registration for multi year in AZ, also a little LOT cheaper

No smog in AZ (Havasu)

no sale tax in AZ

A lot more RV garages in AZ

Fixed that for you.

Friends registration went from $1800/yr in CA to $300/yr (Paid $1500 for 5yrs). That was for a 2009 Monaco Pusher

Thanks Zilla. I had seen that right after I posted this thread. Looks like it has had less than 1000mi put on it after that auction.

My main concern is to make sure I can "sell" the frame/body to a scrapper after I pull the motor and trans.

Looking at picking up a truck for parts for another project. Truck I am looking at has an iffy paperwork trail. I think it is fine but want to try and cross my T's before I give the guy cash. Anyone have access to a stolen vehicle database. Like I said I am pretty sure the guys story is 99.9% legit, just trying to be sure.

Can any one look up the below VIN and confirm it doesn't' pop up on any reports (I know it is Salvaged)

But hey... I noticed yesterday that the good city of El Cajon has supplied the camp with their very own porta potty now. There has always been a few living there, and in the adjoining culvert, but in the last 3 weeks or so it has grown FOUR FOLD. Just crazy I feel really bad for those business right there.

I am wondering it he knocked something loose or poked a hooe in his radiator during that aggressive pass he made about 2 laps before it started smoking.

I am trying to buy tickets to take my kids to the Supercross in San Diego this year. I normally buy them thru the Petco box office, as I refuse to be rapped by ticketmaster for $10/per ticket. Unfortunately this year right now Petco is not opening their box office, telling me the only way to buy SX (or Monster Jam) tickets is directly thru ticketmaster. Screw that. Does anyone have a hook up or know of a place I can go to get tickets that doesn't require me to be rapped by ticketmaster. (Can you tell I HATE ticketmaster)? Appreciate any help with this.

Are you accepting the challenge on your next stereo install? Maybe you can put it in B's truck and then his hearing can be as bad as ours is from our old stereos.

Have 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 V8 with a rough idle. I have been trying to figure it out for the last month or so with no luck. Now it is starting to get worse so I am ready to let someone else figure it out. Need someone that can actual diagnose the problem (like scanner danner) not just throw parts at it to "fix" it. Anyone have a great diagnostic mechanic, preferably east county.
