Now there will be a DJ at Olds??  Good Lord this is going to be the biggest shiat show to date!!! 

The wind sucks... and blows...   

But where I struggle the most is once I'm on the 86 just past Dunes Edge and it's dark... I have semi-trucks coming towards me (blinding me) and 5 side by sides with night sun light bars on the other side of me on sand highway... I literally just stay straight and pray everyone stays where they belong!!

I've had a guy passing a Semi and didn't even care that we almost went head to head!! I moved as far to the right towards sand highway that I felt was safe... but he ran a jeep off the road as he re-merged into his own lane.  I saw my entire life flash before my eyes!! 

Night blindness plus only 2 lanes and wind make for a very white knuckled situation for me just on that final stretch!    

I'm doing a loan for someone and they paid 905K right there in Norco and it is NOWHERE near as big, nor does it have the RV Garage and amount of land!  I predict it will go for over 1MM... when all said and done. 

I was there this weekend, and I gotta say the weather was SUPURB and it was off weekend old school empty place!!  Even parked at Vendor Flats!! Neighbors not 10ft away!! It was pure heaven... if gas prices caused it... I'm not mad!!  

This was Olds at about 2pm on Saturday coming back from the swing set.  

Here is us at the swing set... no where near as packed as it has been all season!  Oh and FYI, this was my friends son driving... he's 16, and its literally a brand new RZR!!  No fear!  But the kid is also a racer, so they trust him. 

So I have no kids either... just 2 pups. 🐶

So Believe it or not I have a Shih-Tzu who was my mothers and when she got her, my mothers current dog bit her... so she asked me to "hold on to her" until she found a home.  I already had 2 labs and a cat... so I was reluctant but said fine... I mean she was the cutest tiniest little pup... 

Well 18.5yrs later here she still is alive and kicking... she is old but has so much spunk and life left in her, she is losing her vision in her right eye, but other than that she's pretty healthy!

This is her today just after I gave her a bath. 🙂 
 

She still goes out with me on short rides like to the hill for sunrise with just her and I... 

And this is Charlie... he's a Rescue from a local rescue I support, I've only had him about 8mos.  He is Maltese and Poodle mix and literally was abandoned for 2wks in a back yard after tenants moved.  😞 He is only 2.5yrs old and man does he have endless energy!! 

They both really enjoy Glamis, Charlie will find out soon if he likes the river... Darla I'll probably leave with my sister since she is older I don't want to risk anything with the heat. 

All in all, I'm pretty lucky to have found Charlie and pretty sure he is just as happy he found me!! 

I always call 3 days before it is about to expire and re-activate...  My cars are 2011 & 2004, so I can't bluetooth to the radios sadly... I did buy an adapter thingy for my Caddy, but sound quality is just eh...  so I keep both on because I can't stand FM radio and commercials... 
I do want to upgrade my 2004 Denali radio to have bluetooth and stuff... but I only use the thing during Glamis season... so I just turn that one on when October Rolls around for 6mos.... LOL

Cadillac I want it to stay with a factory stereo because it all works with my touch screen/navigation and stuff and just looks nice and clean.  So, its easier to just keep XM on that one and I can stream from my phone for free in Glamis and anywhere else...  and its 25.00 for 6mos... and I have to play the song and dance and threaten to leave, but it only takes a few mins... 

I have the same jack from Jeff at Whipsnsh*t...  everyone in camp has pretty much bought one once they needed mine once...  🙂  Does the job and really is easy to move around in the sand.  🙂 

Awww... Thanks Everyone!!  Another year older... but feel another year younger!!

Man I sure did miss this place last season!!  It is definitely an experience to say the least!! 

I'm pretty speechless I'm sure like many others... 💔

Sending all my love and prayers to Jeanne who will need all the prayers us warriors can give at this time. 🙏

Gonna take the trailer out camping with a bunch of friends... should be a great weekend!!
