No mag in gun tho, right?
Right but ammo in the mag is a go, just not in the gun itself

Now, hopefully you Cali guys can challenge the window licking law about transporting your firearms with the ammo stored separately.
Ammo does not need to be stored separately, just not loaded. I can have my gun and loaded mag in the same box.

At the end of Sept I will have a layover for about a 90 minutes at DFWI, let's see how many drinks we can put down before my next flight. House is looking amazing!

Way back in the 90's I was staying at the Embassy Suites in San Dimas. I stepped out onto the balcony and looked down at my car, at the time a 91 Camaro. As I did there was some dude trying to open the door., it took me a second to register what I was actually seeing. Then when It hit me, I yelled, Get the Eff away from my car!! Guy looks up and stumbles back apparently drunk then smirks at me and points his finger like a gun and goes bang bang. I turn around and grabbed my Glock 19 came back out, chambered a round and pointed it back down at him. The look on his face was priceless as he then bolted away..

Starting to install my security as to. My brother owns Home Defense Security and installs systems in Az. He hooked me up with what is supposed to be the best stuff out. 16 ch full color night all the bells and whistles. No if they only would install themselves. A 6'2" 250 man snaking through a attic on a hot day to run cat 6 is a visual and verbal site to behold

but the acid will take the top cream matrix off and then it will not hold anything back, but if the acid already took the matrix off the top, then it does not really matter anymore, the acid will slowly eat away at the concrete, you will need something to naturalize the acid after it is cleaned,
Alper knows some stuff....
It seems this is a trend now in the concrete biz is to give a "salt and pepper' look by removing the "cream" and exposing the sand. It gives it a subtle look of a satin grey concrete. When the concrete is finished and before set they will use a product called Top Cast https://www.daytonsuperior.com/products/chemicals?name=top-cast- It seems the way of the stamped color concrete is falling off for for this look . Mostly due to the part of the constant maintenance and slickness of it.
You could acid wash ( I would not do it yourself, hire someone that knows what they are doing) To achieve a uniform finish to expose the sand aggregate. Then you can apply sealers to seal and strengthen the surface. You could do this to old concrete to get rid of surface stains but penetrated stains are there to stay. You could lightly stain your concrete with some diluted black and greys or browns to give it a custom look before sealing that would help hide previous stains.

Thw "I need my radiator fixed" thread in the tech section got me to thinking about all of the folks here that do these kinds (and other) services.
It would be cool to have one thread with a list of the board members names, locations, and contact info. Maybe stared for the site sponsors?
Edit: sorry if I was not clear, I meant buggy related businesses... Radiators, wiring, trans, engines, even things like truck/rv repair, solar... this way if someone had needed a radiator repaired they could go into one thread and look up the site sponsors for those things and the other folks rhat are not sponsors, but also perform those functions. NO one gives a crap-o-la that I make instruments that measure air pollution....
Let me add my 2 cents to answer your question... This site is helped run by Sponsors and the support they have given GD.com. If you open the door even a little it will be over ran with people looking to push there services or businesses and that in return will effect our loyal relationship with the paying Sponsor. The looking for a ??? thread has served quite well without stepping on toes.
The first place people should look should be here
https://www.glamisdunes.com/invision/index.php?/prefsponsors.html/sponsors/
and see if we have a Sponsor for what they are looking for to help support them and the site

I've never once logged into this forum hoping to find out why the world is ending, what to do about clean air, the latest gun laws, or any/all of the gawtdamn youtube videos people post. Stop. Please. What happened to original content? Post what YOU are doing in your garage, not some effing video of someone else doing a job.
If my memory serves me there was a site as you described and well we know how that ended. GD has never been a tech only site. There are more then enough places for every aspect of this sport to post in. The biggest flaw in 'The Other site" was it was boring, one dimensional and had no variety. GD is a virtual Campfire and nobody wants to sit and talk tech all day and night around the camp fire. But yes it would be nice if members shared more of the tech information and started new threads
