The Centroid sender comes in different Ohm measurements for different gauge application, you'll need to figure out what your fuel gauge measurement is and order that. The hole opening and bolt pattern is a standard size you select when ordering the sender. My car has Autometer gauges with the Autometer sender, so it is 240-33Ohm unit. The Autometer is a universal float sender, I don't like it because the gauge moves with the angle of the car very rapidly. You can't get an accurate fuel reading unless you are on flat ground (the Centroid won't solve that, it'll just slow down the reading reaction time). The Centroid can be ordered with a small bend if you want it to go to the bottom of the tank, or you can leave it straight. Centroid can cut it to length when you order it, or you can cut it when you get it and recalibrate it. 

I will order a straight one standard length, then bend it so it has a better path to the tank bottom, trim it and re-calibrate it.  I even thought about making a pie cut piece of aluminum tube to remove the angle of the sender, so it is straight up and down. Ill mess with that this summer when I get the car back from Next Level Motorsports. 

Correct on the Ethanol, E10 is the max they can handle. Not an issue for myself as I am on 91. Will be an issue for anyone who wants to run E85.

If its for a Gen 4, mine is the Autometer 3262. I plan to replace it with the Centroid sender this summer. 

I mounted mine up front, I do have a hood but maybe would look ok. 

My season went pretty well. About 22 days in the dunes thanks to StarLink. Wanted more but decided to remodel the Funco this summer, with fabrication time frames and trying to do as much on my own as possible, I didn't want to be doing final assembly in October. So, the season was cut short in January and the remodel began early.

I did notice this year that it just seemed packed all the time. We had people squeeze into camp spots that were passage roads between us and the dunes, or passages between two camps... The dunes seemed to be choppier and just rougher than in years past (not that it hasn't been getting progressively worse).  

I am hoping for 40-45 days for the 24-25 season.

Thats because most Funco's never really hit the public market (Marketplace, Craigslist, Toy Trader, etc...). They are sold from within the Funco family of duner's. Thats how I bought mine... I knew a guy who knew a guy... lol.

That looks awesome!  I need to move the radiator on mine to a more upright position like yours and redo the front end like Gen6. 

We have the RV version. Wife works from home and remote when we travel. At times I have used it at home with no loss in service. Zoom calls/meetings with no problem, all while using shared PowerPoint and data heavy programs. We don't notice a difference from Starlink to our home Cox internet service. Plus when we go to the dunes, we can take care of work without worrying about how bad the cell tower is.  Win Win!

I used our Starlink all week over Thanksgiving. No delays and no outages. Wife worked remote all week using it for calls and zoom meetings. No lag or anything.

Prior I used a cell booster... No comparison. Get Starlink, you won't regret it. 

We used the Starlink out there the weekend before Halloween in Wash 10.  It was pretty amazing. I normally use a cell booster, but even on the busy weekends the towers get overloaded and slow.  With Starlink, my wife was able to jump on all her work Zoom meetings without any video/voice issues and she said that is functioned no differently than our service at home. I used it for some work too and did not notice any slowdown in service or buffering.

If you get the RV package, you can turn it off and on monthly as you need it.  We will turn ours on middle of October and off in March when the season ends for us.  

How are you attaching the tank to the floor? I think I saw a post where nutserts were used in the tank. 

Here is how I set mine up.  I used Baja Designs but didn't like how low they sat, so I welded some standoffs for them the mount on. 

Edit - I wouldn't recommend the Squadron Sports. Get the Squadron Pros if you want the smaller size. The Sports just don't put out enough light for my liking. I will be changing them to Pro's and adding a lightbar soon. 

A little tardy to the party but I have the same wobble in my steering. I called Grant and found that the shaft wears in where the bushings are. So replacing the bushings alone may not fix it. Grant said to pull it apart, clean it all up and put one wrap of electrical tape on the bushing and press it back in. I havent gotten around to do it yet but its on my to do list.

When I sold my Honda the entire fuel system went with it from tank outlet to tank inlet. It was a small Bosch (did not flow as much as the 044) with Bosch filters and it was on the edge of not being enough. I planned on an upgrade and found that the A750 vs the A1000 price was not much different, plus the price from -8AN to -10AN was not much different. With future plans on engine upgrades not solid, I wanted to make sure whatever I decided in the future I wouldn't have to mess with the new fuel system. The fittings are all E85 rated with Aeromotive filter/shut off pre and post. I did buck up for the Aeromotive X1 regulator as well. The tank is out of the car, and it will be easy to change the bung on it now vs. later.

Today the LS is stock, next year it won't be, will it end up TT, or super high compression NA on E85? I don't know but I don't want to nickel and dime myself over years of upgrades to a fueling system when I can buy once and cry once. 

On the pump, I've recently heard from a lot of people that the A1000 are locking up due to the vibration and brushes wedging in the housing. This is the reason I am feeling the brushless design. Can you elaborate on the motor controller you mentioned? I was not aware you needed additional equipment for the brushless pumps. This may change the plan a bit. 

Heads... Well, I am thinking I may send them to PRC or CBM for porting and valve job. I already have a GM performance cam in the engine (don't know specs) so a little more powa would be nice. Plus the heads will already be off the engine due to my eff up. 

All in I would imagine there are multiple ways to accomplish one's goals... I tend to be more hardheaded in what I see and want. The Honda was on E85, and I told myself as I was pulling it out that I didn't want to mess with E85 ever again, yet here I am planning a fuel system to handle E85 just in case... lol.
