80-140Mbps consistently.
Have seen 180.
Thank you!

What kind of speeds are you guys seeing with Starlink?

On my Toy Hauler I have a built in Onan 5500, but I mainly use a predator 3500. I will run it all weekend and it maybe consumes 5 gallons. The onan is really only used for both AC's during the summer. I would just buy a Predator and call it done. It will even run for about 12 hours on single tank.

When you save up all your PTO just for the desert season, you make your wife park her brand new Denali outside so your rail can stay inside the garage, you plan family parties around your Glamis trips, you buy a Starlink setup just so you can work from the dunes.

I use the harbor freight gloves, the 7mm thickness. Rarely ever tear them and they are not too expensive

The dish plugs into the modem and is powered thru that cord. The modem has a shorter cord that plugs into the power outlet
Thank you!

Is the Dish powered through the modem or is there a separate power cord?

I am thinking about pulling the trigger as well. From the people that own one already do you think it could be temporarily mounted to say the ladder on the side of my trailer? How are you guys using them in the wind?

I spoke with the Glamis 911 guys and they are not offering coverage this season due to equipment shortages.
They will still be on call but it’s now 500 per hour.

Was supposed to be a weekend test and tune but 20 mins into the ride the engine started knocking so had to limp it back to camp. Met some great peeps from the website and the car was hauling ass until the knock.
Sunday tore it all down and found the end result. Who doesn't like having a motor built at the beginning of the season.

Yup! Turns out my tuner ran it a bit ragged to get some extra power. made one of the rods look almost like a question mark.
Safe to say I wont ever use him again.
Rods and Pistons plus studs going in shortly.

As your life winds down to an end, as they all do, you won't look back and think, "I should have went to the dunes less". Jus sayin....
Looks like it’s probably a go for this weekend.

Did you walk there? You don't have a car right now.
I was in Arizona at the half mile event in Gila bend and we stopped off on our way back.

For the most part I am pretty calm about it. I realize to enjoy the drive and just cruise out there. Also maintaining your vehicles adds a nice layer of comfort. I check my tire pressure before every trip and ensure my tires are in good shape.
I know times in the past when I have rushed to get out there I am more on edge versus just taking my time.
