Everything is different at these temperatures. The dog doesn't want to play ball after he waters the tree. I bet the diff oil would not drain if I pulled the plug out.

Hopefully there is a cheaper way to ship it back than the post office.

My buddy ordered a Honda replacement off of ebay and the thing ran great. Just swapped over the needed parts, bolted up a turbo to it and away he went. I think he only paid like $400 or something stupid for it. As long as the seller you're buying from has a good rep you should be fine.
Appreciate the info and suggestion.

The dealer...too bad they don't offer long blocks.
Thanks! I didn't think they were still being made by Honda. Will check that out.

The good thing about eBay is no matter who you buy it from you got PayPal protection. I had a subie motor show up in bad shape, the seller didn't want to take it back but PayPal refunded me and paid for return shipping
Thanks! That gives me some hope and will keep looking on ebay.

eBay is usually pretty good. Also, check out power rev racing as they might have some in stock.
Appreciate the info!

Try to find an oem honda short block that’s in a crate then find some oem heads. Better to spend some more for a piece of mind. I think someone one here has one for sale.
Where is a good place to look for OEM honda shortblocks and heads?

Have you looked at JDM. I have gotton a 3.5 from them for my old buggy. It was a good motor and lasted a long time
I have heard of the JDM engines. Where is everyone getting the ‘in running condition’ ones from?

Does anyone have a good egay seller to recommend for pulled engines? Preferably one they have used before.

Depending on the mileage I would do some reading about the cost of replacing the timing chain, just so your aware before purchasing. Some people have different ‘comfort’ levels of what they want to spend to maintain a used vehicle.

That gives me hope. I was envisioning a guy on a snowboard being pulled by a waterski rope attached to a car. Any suggestions as to waterski rope length if someone was going to try this? 50’ 100’ longer?
