You mock them, they just adjust and now call it  Extreme Climate Syndrome........

It's hot it's the fault of big industrialized nations,  to cold they blame the same people. Only people they do not blame are the ones flying around in private jets talking about it.

My buddy ordered a Honda replacement off of ebay and the thing ran great.  Just swapped over the needed parts, bolted up a turbo to it and away he went.  I think he only paid like $400 or something stupid for it.  As long as the seller you're buying from has a good rep you should be fine.

    Appreciate the info and suggestion.

The good thing about eBay is no matter who you buy it from you got PayPal protection. I had a subie motor show up in bad shape, the seller didn't want to take it back but PayPal refunded me and paid for return shipping

Thanks! That gives me some hope and will keep looking on ebay.

Try to find an oem honda short block that’s in a crate then find some oem heads. Better to spend some more for a piece of mind. I think someone one here has one for sale.

Where is a good place to look for OEM honda shortblocks and heads?

  5. Depending on the mileage I would do some reading about the cost of replacing the timing chain, just so your aware before purchasing. Some people have different ‘comfort’ levels of what they want to spend to maintain a used vehicle.
