Out of state can be a hassle with the inspection. I had an '82 GMC 1/2 ton diesel with the intentions of LS swap cruiser. No issues minus the standard safety inspection to register. Mine happened to be non-op'd so was easy to register but ending up trading it away before I built it. Diesels were first offered in 1978 if you want a "round eye". Currently looking for a '82-'84 diesel K5 for the same reason.

I prefer the app Gas Guru. It is easier to search surrounding areas. I search out #2 stations and stay away from R99 & B20. No particular reason.

I'm 44 years old and I'm on #3. '81 ATC110 to '85 ATC200X to '85 ATC250R. Been on the '85 ATC250R since June of '93 (Build Thread).

"Hey, I was at that show!"
Which one? All those shows were great!

A recent post about Ted Nugent made me dig out my concert ticket stash. I miss the days of standing in line at Music Plus for a wrist band or waiting at the mail box for an actual concert ticket. This is my stack of classic tickets with highlights. I have another stack with full page printed tickets but they just don't feel nostalgic. What do you got?

I've seen "The Nuge" live at least 4 times. Great performer and show. Once saw him at Universal Amphitheater and in the middle of the show he pulled out a bow and shot show a deer prop DEAD CENTER from about 50 years. The proceeded to play Great White Buffalo.

Well maybe this is a good place to make an announcement that I bought a 2021 Ram Crew Cab 4x4 2500 Cummins Turbo Diesel yesterday.
Congrats! I own a '21 3500. It's a nice truck and does everything I want it to do effortlessly. However, I miss my '04.5 HO 6speed 4x4 everyday. Do yourself and your wallet a favor, don't follow Carli or CJC Offroad on IG.

His Metal Mulisha Roots came out in that interview!
He came out looking like an entitled little $h1+. Not a fan of him or his father after the whole "bike claim" incident.

Had 5 trips planned and made only 1 trip this season. I have 3 kids in 3 different sports and it wrecks weekends. Hoping to get in a week trip this summer to Oregon but got a new job a week ago and don't know if that will work out. Next year my oldest starts high school so at least I will have one less responsibility per weekend since they do everything during the week.

Post race interview with Plessinger was heartbreaking. Crowd was super supportive but you could see that he was destroyed inside. Hope he eventually gets one or he will live that moment forever.
I know Deegan is a 17yo kid but DUDE WTF? Hope he gets his ass chewed by Yamaha. His post race interview was BS. Rubbing is racing but not in heat race against your own teammate.

Congrats to "Kickstart Kenny". Tomac didn't look right, something must have been wrong with him or the bike. He lost the red plate for the first time this season.
My picks this week were WAY off. Proves once again I know nothing about SX.

I'll take a black 3x5 and two small for whips.

I still use Craigslist. Not as much traffic as before but still works. OfferUp is my go to but just recently signed up for Facebook just for the Marketplace. Parts for 85-86 ATC250R & 86-89 TRX250R are hard to come by so I have to use them all.

I would rather watch the crew work on the track over that dumb screen saver.
That would be awesome.

Peacock! FYI for anyone who is watching the race on Peacock. If you got a late start and are catching up to the Live event, it will shut off. For me, 2min left in the 450 main..... And now you have to wait for the Replay to be uploaded to finish the race.

Once again Sexton throws one away. My top 5 fantasy pics were spot on until he dumped it again.

Would love a 5th wheel with a garage but with 5 bikes, I am stuck with a 27ft bumper pull for now. 4 in the trailer and 1 in the bed along with a full-size BBQ (necessity) and a ton of firewood. A 5th wheel has much more storage, hell the space under the bed alone is almost more than my bumper pull.

Wishing I was at the 250R meet today. Might catch my nephew's baseball game this afternoon. Lots of honey do's followed by a few beers and Supercross tonight. Sunday I need to do yard and clean my back garage. Monday I am working on my cousin's Banshee getting it ready to sell.

I took about a 25k-30k pay cut about 18 months ago (not by choice). Put in 24+ years and we were acquired by a large corporation. Lasted 9 months of corporate life until the bosses decided they knew more than me. Took 5 weeks for them to realize their mistake and call me. Decided to walk anyways (also unwilling to move to Kentucky). I hate what CA is turning into but my whole family (both sides) live within a 25 mile radius. New job has potential to get most of that back but at the moment, I am "just an employee" by choice. No longer putting in 12+ hours, 6 days a week. I show up at 8am and leave at 5pm, no weekends. I will admit, it is difficult seeing my bi-weekly checks expecting a different number but I have less stress right now and am enjoying the extra time with my kids.
My advise, ride it out and save as much as possible. If you are making 20% less per year, you will have to work a full 5 years to make what you would have in 4 years.
