  1. With a dispute, PayPal places the money on hold.  You cannot remove or transfer it until the dispute has processed.  Log into your account, provide tracking info and all communication with customer, state that you have tried to contact the customer, that you offered to refund the money once it was returned or provided proof of alleged damage.  Also, look into when he placed the dispute, if there was damage, he should have filed a claim with the shipper within 24-48 hours.  My company does a few million per year with PayPal and they usually get it right.  Just takes time.

  2. I think CC stays in 250.  I think he knows he can't compete in 450 but with his consistency can stay relevant in 250 and probably squeak out another title if Jett leaves.  If he moves to 450, he will just be another mid pack guy.  His kids are young so he might try to move up for the $$$.  Will probably have the same fate Cooper Webb has had this year with a new team/bike.

a customer of mine came in the other day to get an idea of replacing his Subaru block, said it had a hole in the top of the block.  i asked what happened, the story goes...............

a few weeks he returned from Glamis and it was late and he was too tired to pull his ignition fuse that he normally does.  the next morning the 2006 truck, trailer, buggy and two quads were gone. he lives in Victorville

luckily he had a GPS tracker called
"Momentum"  $12 a month.  it records all stops time and location.  he was able to contact the police and a storage unit that was visited twice. they found his trailer abandoned in a field with nothing in it. with the police help, the storage unit looked at cameras and saw the truck come in twice, and with the code that was entered it was to a storage unit in another persons name.  there they were able to recover the two quads. and found the truck and buggy along with the thief in Tehachapi, motor was blown up and he went to jail, had lots of previous theft on his rap sheet, the cops said he will probably be out in a few days, (Newscum) but with help of his tracker he got his truck, trailer, buggy and quads back

I have said it before, if anything is attached to my truck, tractor, buggy, trailer or whatever i will make my truck not run, furthermore i will box in the trailer too as i have heard them just pull the trailer over to their truck and take off with it too

So the trailer was found without a tracker?  Looks like the Momentum kits require ODB & 12 volt.  I am more worried about my trailer alone getting stolen.  Will have to see if they have a powered version.  Thanks for the info.

  4. I work in the classic car/truck sector and I stop recommending shops years ago.  My advice is to attend local car shows/events.  Take a close look at the quality/finish you want then ask the owners who worked on it and about their experience.

Median Riverside County Home Price Tops $600K, Jumping More Than $86K Since Last Year

Statewide, the average median home price is up to $771,270, up from $765,610 in January, and $699,000 in January of 2021.

Don't get me wrong, I have a $H_t load of equity in my house but I look at my 3 children (oldest 13) and wonder how in the hell will they ever be able to afford a house of their own.  I know, I know.... move out of CA!  But honestly, the reason people are able to move out of CA and afford it is the equity they take with them from their CA home sale.  The FED is expected to raise interest rates tomorrow and continue on that trend the rest of the year to fight Bidenflation.  I guess we will just have to wait to see how that effects the current market.  What are your thoughts?

Wide variety of pricing for sure… I know it’s a niche bike that could take forever to sell if you’re looking for top dollar. I offered him $3k MAX… he’s a very close friend but still wants a fair price. He hasn’t agreed yet. There was one that popped up the other day in as good or better condition. Original owner , very little use for $2500. Ad was down within 30 minutes of posting.

I saw that post. Saturday in Corona?  Was similar to this bike, hadn't been started in years....  I think $3k MAX is a solid offer, just depends on how much trouble your friend wants to go through for a few hundred bucks.  I personally can't stand tire kickers so I tend to sell stuff cheaper so it sells faster so I don't have to deal with them.

Protect your main bottom cases at all costs. Dont even think about riding without a case saver or with an effed up 30 year old chain. Everything is in abundant supply except the main cases

100%.  Picked up a 86 TRX250R basket case in need of small case repair.  Billet cases are now available but $$$.

It’s actually a buddy of mine that’s been out of the game for a long time and is looking to sell it. It definitely needs some love before turning it over. I’m actually considering buying it for nostalgia sake. Trying to figure out how I can justify it 🤣

Justify it as an investment.  Sport quads, especially 2-stroke versions are not being made.  There will always be a need a clean, factory start to a build.  It is true that 88-89 are more desirable but 86-87 (this is a 86) is a great bike.  I have also have one in storage, albeit a basket case but it waiting its turn for a full build.

Watching a lot of TV. (Supercross today!!)  Crashed the dirt bike in Ocotillo wells Sunday, had surgery to fix my tibia on Tuesday.  Sent me home from desert regional hospital on Wednesday.  Now the months of healing / physical therapy begin.  My goal is to be riding my SE PK Ripper along the beach this summer.  PXL_20220221_170508667.thumb.jpg.bb6874a60b90c79da30ce522c85b8d68.jpg

    Ouch!  Get well soon.

  10. Bought a new Ram, they wanted $$ to keep the subscription.  They sent an email to my wife to re-activate her '11 Suburban (never went past trial 10 years ago) for $5 a month.  I called them with that code and they said no problem.

I do agree that they stations get old fast.  However, it is nice to hear some metal on the radio (still can't believe LA doesn't have a decent rock station).  Pirate Radio!   :dude:

  11. Had a 04.5 Dodge with 5.9 and NV5600 6 speed manual.  Hands down the best truck but too small for my growing family of 5.  Just sold with 198k for high teens to a friend.  In May, bought a '21 Ram 3500 4wd long fleet crew out of Wyoming for $61k.  Took awhile to find what I wanted without a premium.  It's a tradesman but happy so far.  Has all the stuff and more my '04.5 Laramie had.  Only upgrades are HO/Aisin combo, 50 gallon fuel tank, 8" stereo, carpet & chrome bumpers.  Have about 7k on it with about 5k of it towing.  With 1075lbft, you don't worry about hills or passing anymore, just how much fuel you want to use doing it.

Hint:  If you build it on the RAM website and say search inventory.  It will show you trucks that are ordered and which dealership they are headed to.  I call the Ram dealer in WY and asked about the truck before they the sales guys even knew it was coming in.  They received it 8 days later and the process was already done.  Still had another salesman try to buy it out from under me though.
