Painted or powder coated?
I'm not sure if it's paint or powder. It was on the car when I bought it.

Families, welcome to your new home on wheels! This beautiful Tiffin has served our family well for the past 15 years. We are the original owners and purchassed it new in July 2008. The 35 QBA has a great layout with 4 slides. It is built on the Freightliner FRED (Front Engine Diesel) Chassis with 22.5" 10 lug wheels. The bunkbeds have video players to keep the kids entertained as you drive. The full body "sunlit sand" paint is in great condition except over the windshield on the front cap. The 6.7L Cummins ISB is a workhorse and averages over 8mpg towing. 2 roof A/C's (rear AC is 2 years old) 2 forced air furnaces. 6000 watt Cummins/Onan Diesel generator with 1135 hours with recent service including new fuel pump. Electric leveling jacks, 50amp service, Diamond shield clear bra. Added since new: CB radio, 2000 watt Xantrex inverter, air compressor, air horn. All awnings replaced within the last year, slideout awnings were upgraded to acrylic (Sunbrella) and the 16' main awning was replaced with vinyl like the original. The original stainless steel wheel covers are also included if you prefer that over the black wheels. Seats and upholstery have always been covered with towels or blankets and are in excellent shape. Wineguard satellite antenna with auto seek (box required). Convection microwave and cook top with gas oven. 52,152 miles. Located in Torrance, CA. Call, text or message me on here with any questions.

Nope.
There are 5 classifications of OHV, #3 is Sand Cars, Buggies and Rails and #5 is ROHV - specifically SXS, UTV's. Called Section 500
The Amendment posted here by the OP is related to Section 500 that in only ROHV.

Copy.
Thank You. That link and definition clears it up for me.

Nope - Driving your sand Car, you are not forced to wear a helmet.
ROHV are specifically SxS's only. It's all here --> https://ohv.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=27288
Do I need to wear a helmet, as well as my passengers, while operating my sand rail, dune buggy or Jeep off-highway?Although additional safety precautions are always recommended, CVC Section 38601 applies only to a vehicle defined as an ROV.I get that, however the link you sent still defines an ROV based upon how the law was previously written. The current definition sounds like it includes sand cars. I certainly hope not, but I'm a simple guy reading this definition. In the previous law it was the 1000cc limit that exempted the sand cars now that is gone. This will be interesting to follow.
Thank you for the info and the link.

Howe 2" Rack
in Sandcar / Off-Road Parts
Posted
Rack has been disassembled and inspected. Needs the top plate the spacer and the tie rod mount as well as a seal kit. All other parts are good. Could easily be rebuilt or used for parts. I moved up to a 2.5" rack due to bigger tires on the car.
