The Wall That Heals, a Vietnam Veterans Memorial Replica & Mobile Education Center is coming to El Cajon, California March 21-24, 2024.  
 

It will be at Wells Park, 1135 E. Madison Ave. 

It took some doing to get it shown in El Cajon, and from what Slap has been told, this is the first time that it will park its wheels in San Diego. That is downright Slapptacious. Not only is it a replica of the wall, it also has the education center inside the mobile unit that family and friends can get an in depth history of the Vietnam War.  Hope y’all can attend one of the days that it is in San Diego. 
 

A fellow Duner and brotherhood member brought a concern to Slaps attention.
 

Now, imagine cruising through a wash checking out the sights, or maybe pulling in to Camp with your motorhome and stacker attached, late at night, or even during the day,

and out of nowhere, you drop into one of these:

You are done.

 this is a 5 foot wide, nearly 3 foot deep fire pit. Very dangerous.  
 

our fellow brotherhood member filled in five of these large pits, and said there were quite a few more, and this is from one Wash. If you’re going to dig a large fire pit to enjoy those wonderful nights by the fire, before you leave, please fill in the hole that you dug, for the safety of others.
