  1. Hot damn Hozay, that is downright slapptacious . The Sand food is a Slappy favorite no doubt.  Sure hope you got to see those gorgeous purple flowers that set a top of them. Tough little buggers they are, and so tempting to take a bite. Slap could swear it was the sandfood, but as Grease said, whatever the hell that was, it sent Slap on a mcnastified trip. Traveled all over the place, and Grease, Slap knows for a fact that WAS a red horned orangutang; he tried to tell Slap that he was a collector of ancient Roman antiquities. Slap didn’t believe that one, and then he tried to sell Slappy some encyclopedias. Slap wasn’t buying that. Slap never saw more white coats, dressed in rainbow colors in his whole life. What a night.  But, Ms. Fox did give Slap a box of jelly filled scented candles. Still have them to this day.   And, who knew Mr. Red could speak Arabic.

Hozay, Slap really appreciates you sharing Mother G’s beauty here in da hood.  Your post is going into the McScrappbook!!!!!❤️❤️❤️

  2. Well, hot damn, looks like nobody made an attempt except Robert L at the St. Patrick’s Day riddle. Looks like Slap is going to have to keep this 24 ounce crystal edged Glamisdunes.com beer mug, the 3 x 5 Glamisdunes.com buggy flag, and this beautiful Glamisdunes.com armistice veterans ceremony Sherpa hoodie. That’s a beautiful package right there. Maybe next year 👍

  5. In life, you are faced with many challenges, some may result in disaster if you attempt them. But what is life without facing those challenges; taking them head-on?  Many times you will back down, and in your head, you will always second-guess on why you didn’t try. When you are  faced with the challenge ahead of you, Sometimes you have to say, “EFF IT, SHIFT INTO FOURTH, AND NAIL IT.”

You may be a hero, but you also may fail. But at least you tried.

Beautiful pic Slappy and a good question indeed. I have no doubt that they are strong enough... their numbers are more and technology has made communication, support, and a call to action tenfold easier than it used to be... it has also created more noise and distraction at the same time though. One of the main issues at hand is the same one that we have faced with every generation and every off-road recreation area in the US, the egos and internal divisions that prevent the entire community from working together instead of in opposition to each other.

Buggies vs quads, Gecko vs washers, SxS vs everyone, hard pack vs sand, like much of current society many focus on what makes us different instead of what makes us the same. Many areas have died and been boarded up due to this... too busy infighting and divided they weren't strong enough to take on the white coats! We have been fortunate that there has been a group strong enough to take them on and maintain what we have, even getting some acreage reopened - which is no small feat in any recreation area.

There are plenty out there, new and old, that want to do the right thing and protect and and serve the area that we know and love. They need leadership, guidance, and support in their efforts and we - the entire dune community - collectively need to work together as a cohesive society to respect and protect her.

I have faith that we can do it and am committed to doing my part to make it happen.

Well said Hozay, and Slap has faith sir.  That post is going into the the McScrappbook. ❤️👊
