  1. the insurance companys sell most of thier salvage at auction and for the last few years they have been getting real good money at auction. so they will total something here if the repair is over 60 percent of value. rather than pay for the repair and suplements and problems down the road win win for them

  2. if you on the east coast there are plenty of places in nyc you leave it and it will be stripped by morning and towed to the police scrap yard by night actually the salvage yards will take a car without a title as long as it isnt stolen just need the police to run the vin for you

Disagree about the 8 vs 10 comparison for getting to Glamis.

I used to take the 8 all the time, agree that it is less stress, but taking the 10 is faster by 30 mins for me.

Plus going up Ogilby will destroy any trailer suspension you may have.

If you work in Scottsdale and want property close to work, you are going to pay out the nose for something like that.

For decent price, you are going to have to go on the outskirts of town, in any direction, and then have a commute.

i take the 8 and leave the trailer in gds wallmart in yuma and gas

Devin was one of my very best friends. He would give a hand to any one that needed it. Almost every ride I have done in the last 11 years has been with Dev. He was a great leader in the dunes. We had many rides in the summers that it was just Devin and me and we had all of Glamis to our selves, no one else in all Glamis. I will miss my friend but I will all ways cherish the last year +. We both were off work for the pandemic so I was able to spend about 100 or so days at Glamis. Devin and I did a ton of miles and had a lot of good times. I thank God for the time we had out there, one of the best years of my life. We had a ride planed for this weekend. Its hard to be leave he is gone.

RIP my brother you will always ride with me.

    Weldable Metals Aluminum
    Specialty Metals
    Stainless Steel
    Steel
    Input Voltage 110/115/120 V
    208 V
    220/230/240 V
    380/400 V
    460/480 V
    Input Phase 1- and 3-Phase
  6. the 4 prong has ground and neutral. most welders dont use the neutral you can just put a jumper between the neutral and ground not the best way tho. the ground and neutral are on the same bus bar in your panel but the ground wire may be a smaller gauge than the hot leads. the only reason the welder would need a neutral would be for the electronics or if it has a outlet for a water cooler
