Fine tooth combing and detailing my 2011 JKU Sahara after a 17 month ordeal with DMV on getting my title. Long story as you might imagine but USPS informed delivery shows the title arriving today. Putting it for sale on base on Monday and then patiently waiting on the 2022 Jeep Gladiator lineup to be announced so that I can place my order.

No, we went over to Kanab to do some site seeing. It was a planned event.

Did Coral Pink on the way to Little Sahara and St. Anthony’s. We made it to Yellowstone on that trip too. Not planned but a bad (Biblical) sand storm blew into the dunes so we hit Montana and Wyoming to get out of the mess for the day.

Not quite talcum but yes, very very soft. The washes at Glamis are like talcum.

Surprised no one has mentioned Kanab while visiting Coral Pink. Cool little town where many classic Westerns were filmed.

And then the pet cemetery is a nice place to visit. White Privilege folks put their deceased animals there. Some with very elaborate surroundings.

Been trying to stay cool and hydrated all weekend but heading down to Indio in a few to see The Iron Maidens. Outside!

So no interest at all on a 2011 Sahara Unlimited?

With it being 105* outside and the Stanley Cup Playoffs on inside I’m thinking it’s bouts to get mellow up in here!

I disagree, that azzhole put a whole bunch of lives in danger. 120+mph. Helos should have a harpoon so that right through the roof of the car, cruise out over the ocean, release.

Or, just give the helos a Hellfire missile and as soon as they are out of traffic WHOOSH, threat eliminated! No need for over an hour of 120mph chase through traffic.

A fellow member named raptorlicious, a fantastic lady, came out to do a night train also. I had jumped across the other side of the tracks and the train was going by. I heard her yell, “hey Rob, are you over there?.”   I said “yes I am”.  She could barely hear me over the sound of the train going by.  She then took a picture of the train from ground level in the direction where she thought she heard the voice come from.  At that same time I was kneeling down looking under the train cars going by, and the train was moving quickly. I saw the flash of a camera from below the train from the other side, and this is the picture she got. It was way cool, and a one in a million pic. 
 

Crazy being that close to the train. I know it doesn’t happen often, but they do come off of the tracks at Glamis. Was there one weekend, back in the good old 4StrokeWars/KingOfTheHill days, camped at Wash 7. Wasn’t a pretty sight. Cars and parts strewn all over the place.

Damn I can’t believe how long ago 2008 was!
