  1. Ok, don't laugh but everytime I try and upload pics to GD it rotates the pic from the original?

I know folks on here have corrected it for me in the past but will never tell me what I'm doing wrong.

    Anyone care to advise?
    Thx :banghead:

  2. As more facts leak out, I think we'll see that corrupt Joe and the corrupt DOJ changed the rules to implicate Trump. I believe they will find that Biden Executive Orders already did this.

Think of it like this, tomorrow Biden signs an Executive Order that ALL AR-15's are illegal and anyone in possession of said gun are criminals and breaking the law....suddenly every owner can be indicted, charged and sent to prison!

The bias and hypocrisy in this country has become an epidemic.....not sure how we change course here?

  3. I've got a Q-Grill that works great...but thinking of adding a Blackstone as well....would need to re-organize the 5th wheel storage a little...anyone using the single burner Blackstone....thoughts?

If its moving for retirement, I'd look at Nv or Tx, as they don't tax retirement income. Az is nice if you can find the right piece of land, but you still have lots of taxes... not compared to CA, but still lots. You have 8%+ sales tax, and food is not exempt. Property taxes need to be figured for both county, fire, school, and municipal rates, which can add up depending on the specific locations. Fuel taxes aren't bad, but the base price is pegged to what the CA price is, so it is still more expensive than Tx.

If you can find land, and don't mind the cold, Wy is worth a look. Its got no one around, and not many folks from CA want to move there, with CO so close by.

I thought I read that AZ does not tax retirement income as well?

Nevada might be an option....no income tax.   I know people that have moved to Texas, which also has no income tax, but they tax the heck out of you in other areas, like property.  I don't know if NV is the same way.

I moved my parents a couple years back out to N. Las Vegas and I have a good buddy that lives out that way as well...they all seem very happy there, not sure if the wife will go for Nevada. :fl:

  6. Thank you too all.... really appreciate everyone taking some time to provide great insight and details!

I've got 12-14 years before retirement, but I hope to get out of Cali much sooner...going to plan some extended weekends to visit Arizona and establish an exit plan.... we have 2 daughters (27 & 24) and hope they will follow as we do not want to be far away grandparents.... someday!

  7. For those that live in Arizona what's your likes and dislikes to living there?

Looking at the future and getting out of California, Arizona is high on the list of prospective destinations.... mostly thinking for retirement or hopefully a little sooner.

And I know that four months out of the year it's HOT AF....but it looks like for the rest of the year is fairly nice.

One area that has my interest in Queen Creek, AZ.

Thank you for your thoughts and time to comment.

  8. I was always a Ford Truck guy, in 2020 it was time to replace my 10 yr old F250....pricing on the Fords was and still is insane, RAM was offering 0% on the 2019's and the dealer was willing to deal (-$6K) off MSRP.....my wife couldn't believe I was considering not buying a Ford....we made the deal and it's been a great truck....but I do feel like I will be back into a Ford again someday....hard to say because I really do not have any complaints on the RAM....other than the damn side mirrors suck!

As far as cars, we've had Nissan, Chevy, Ford, GMC, Volvo etc....all different cars for what our needs were at the time...but with two daughters and lots of friends, I really enjoyed our GMC Yukon XL....very comfortable to drive and lots of room for everyone....but it was what we needed at that time.

I think most of the cars being offered today are built well with great features....like others have said, it's the dealer service that can make a break the experience....you also get what you pay for!

Glamis is Federal Land / looks like all registrations will be from out of state if CA wont issue registrations to gas powered vehiciles !!! JUST INSANE!!!

The Feds own the land....not the air...I think this is how CA gets around it....a combustible engine is a "pollutant" and not allowed to operate within the state.....just thinking out loud here.

Sorry, getting off topic....so do we need a helmet while driving a rail next season or not?? :banghead:

  10. The reality here is our sport is and has been under attack for many years and unfortunately too many people vote DemocRat in California and as bad as it gets here, they will still vote DemocRat...sheep are sheep!

The zero emissions plan by 2035 will include ANYTHING with a combustible engine.... if the law doesn't specifically point it out today it eventually will by 2035....I mean let's be serious here, does anyone really think the scum in Sacramento will give us a pass....HELL NO!

Not trying to be doom and gloom but it is what it is!

  11. Let's not forget here, the Left MSM screamed for years over Trump and Russian Collusion (LIE), the Hunter Laptop was fake (FALSE), the BLM / ANTIFA protests were mostly peaceful (FALSE), if you get the Vaxx COVID stops (LIE).....I could go on and on and we all know it.... journalism in the US is 100% compromised.....how do we get back to real unbiased journalism.....NO IDEA!

  12. If it has a Fuel Station, make sure it works and pumps, check for fuel leaks in the lines and tanks.

Picked up a WW 5th wheel a few years ago, seller told me the pump did not work and adjusted the price, but what he didn't tell me or maybe didn't realize is the tank had gone bad and had a leak....

  13. We stopped going to pismo years ago....it's beautiful but too small/crowded of an area to actually enjoy duning in my opinion. And yes, prepare to air down everything and bring plywood to block the onshore wind (erosion) and make sure to cover your toys...night time mist (salt) gets on everything.

If you've never been then it's worth a try...just make sure it's open.

    Safe travels.
