  1. well, no drama this weekend. but my side gig boss kept asking me when's the parking garage going to be done.........how much longer...........are you cleaning it..............

I literally spent 3- 3 hour evenings after my real job, all day saturday and about 1/2 day today powerwashing a 25 car parking garage in the bottom of an airbnb I take care of. I used a walk behind power washing broom, then went back over with a wand to push it all kinda where it would drain.

I literally hauled out about 30-5 gallon buckets of sludge (drywall dust, dirt/mud, and god knows what else). The asphalt was literally white when I started from all the drywall work done about a year ago or more. It was completely remodeled and we had no intention of bringing the garage up to code to use for parking.

    Fire Suppression -20k

New fire doors, cut curb for handicap access inside, new garage door opener tied to our remote lock system (when someone books one, it generates a door code that's good from the time of check in at 4pm, to 11am day of check out. and its right on the money lol.-12k

After all the remodel clowns spilled epoxy on the floor and god knows what else, I got up all i could, oh and 3 drains work and 1 doesn't, however none flow correctly since the floor is not laid right so it pools in all the wrong spots.

I used a pump to get as much as I could, waited for it to dry, broomed up the residual dirt, then shop vac'd the last parts.

I had 4 new glass shower doors to do something with that were in my way, so throw them on facebook for free, that's done lol! guy showed up in an hour and hauled them off.

I live in the house that the Ratt brothers grew up in! Not much left of the house but their names are still scrawled in the concrete sidewalks out front. Rick and Tom, the brothers not Juan Croucier, used to come by the house as we were remodeling it and we used to see them at the Armed Forces Day Parade. Pretty sure they had some good times in the pool! lol

My Daughter had her Drop Ceremony last week. At the beginning of their training they give a list from 1-10 of the planes they would want to fly.  Depending how good you during training  can determine what you will fly.

Marlene's first choice was the C-17  And she got it!

This Video is the actual moment she found out and really had no idea what it would be.

This day was pretty much the day she has worked for and will determine her career.. She worked so hard for this day. I get a tear every time I watch it.

  5. fun fact, in probably 1984 ish I had a speech class probably 10th grade at a private catholic high school. We were told to pick a poem that "meant" something to you.

Well I was the only kid in the school with long hair, in a dress shirt button down daily with my concert shirts always underneath. At this time most the kids at these schools were trouble kids lol. We were some party animals on the brink of crossing the line so my whole class was pretty much those type kids.

The "poem" I picked was titled..............Run to the hills, so I listened to that song 100 times, wrote down all the lyrics and that was my speech. Got an A and only a handful of my posse knew the poem lmmfao.

Weren't the 80's great? I'd literally give everything I have to go back and live in 1983-86, god those were the days!

not sure, i picked it up this am. pulled nice, heavy built. you can tell the people built 18 wheeler trailers, the back door uses a sea-lock gasket  and it was messed up but my local trailer place got was able to source them in the size i needed. it looks like it will be a good trailer

Awesome, really appreciate the feedback. It's selling me on it even more.

The main thing I'm trying to wrap my head around is what potential issues am I looking at with these newer truck and what have owners experienced? Seems like majority of guys I've talked to have been more than happy. But I have heard a few horror stories of trans going out at very low miles.

2017 f250 diesel just in shop 3 weeks ago for dpf cracked 4k i think it was, leaking 2 piece oil pan, it was like 2500 or something crazy, got it back now have injectors making tons of noise. took it back they said it needs an updated tune, ford did a reflash, noise went away, 3 weeks later its back going to shop again tonite. it had 55k on it and now has 80k

@Dirtywhiteboy posted on here years ago about us spending 1/3 of our lives in bed, so why would you NOT invest in a good bed.  That changed my perspective on mattresses and bedding.

Now if i could just figure out how to turn my brain off and get a good nigjts sleep.  I have another sleep study coming up so I'm hopeful they will figure some things out.

im 56 and sleep on the floor lol. futon mattress, have for many years. I sleep like a baby, wife sleeps in the master in our bed. I can't stand a bed...........well when we had a waveless waterbed I was good lol. when i travel for work and sleep in hotels I don't sleep worth a damn. I was just in dallas last week, very restless and up at 4am and couldn't go back to sleep. got home went to bed/floor lol, slept like a rock and got caught up in one night lol. I slept on the floor when I was about 16 my water bed broke and I used the bed frame to build a workbench. back then I just slept on a blanket. from a long day at work and my backs killing me, the floor seems to put everything back in place. We have an expensive bed, memory foam some damn high dollar bed and I can do about a night or 2 and back to the floor I go lol.

  10. look into https://gocleanse.com/lexandterry/the-program/  i learned about it on the lex and terry radio show. I heard about it for years always thinking one of these days i'll try it.

about 2 years ago i tried it and man did it work. quite expensive but equals the cost of eating out lunch every day. As I travel alot for work, i was worried about

getting the chits, but no issues, and man did i feel 25 again. all my aches and pains went away, lost about 25 lbs on the 30 day cleanse. It's a cellular cleanse, with weight loss as a by product. all my numbers dropped into check, dr was amazed. man I was doing great after I was off it, eating salads and healthy until I decided to try a chicken fry steak, and I had 3 that week lol. I'm about to go back on it. but I tell ya as a guy who has ate whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted, drank like a fish, after a couple days man did I feel good.

    might check it out.

I waited years to try it, and they did all these contests about losing weight and the one that sold me was the trucker challenge. I knew if truckers could do it being in a big rig for hours on end and not having to pull over every hour, it has to be ok. I was sceptical as hell. My thought was to just stay on this forever as some people do, and travel and make the shakes etc on the go. I hear they have revamped it some and have added some meals into the program, I was just doing the shakes and you could eat all the veggies you wanted, but I just like brocolli and green beans so I'd eat them like crazy, and boiled eggs, but I was never really hungry.

My first taste of the bad stuff I used to eat didn't taste so good, but after a while that damn chicken fry got me lol.

rita was my coach and she would text me to see how I was doing, and after a few days I told her I got this, no need to check on me. I was bound and determined to stay on it come hell or high water for 30 days. and I did

  11. depression and tough times can make a guy do crazy things. I can honestly see where a person would think that is the easiest way out. You have to have a strong mental game to battle demons that can sneak in.

I had a sexual harassment claim filed against me over 20 years ago while I was, wait for it, at freaking sexual harassment training.  Can't make this chit up, LOL.

i had a girl in the rx at work one time file a complaint because she brought up the movie american pie and why it was called american pie and i told her we had pecan pies on sale in the store. next thing i know HR is in my office. I was like WTF, she brought it up, I've never seen it and she described the movie to me then I simply say hey we got pies on sale, and she tried to get a pay out.
