  1. Little update, a few of my regular group decided to go, so looks like we are going to be up on Osborne, feel free to stop by for a beer or go for a ride. I appreciate the offers, and still plan to go on a ride with you guys.

As your life winds down to an end, as they all do, you won't look back and think, "I should have went to the dunes less". Jus sayin....

  4. I definitely need to do this one year. Been down there in the past, but never with my buggy.

Also, want to do Barstow to Stateline, and been told there is a way to get to the river from salton sea area too.

  5. Anyone plan to be in the dunes 10-22?

Was planning a trip for my birthday, took Thursday through Sunday off work, aaaaaaannnd, nobody is going from my normal group. Poop.

Can't switch the days off, all I can do is cancel.

I'd like to still make the trip, if there are other people to camp and ride with.

We are a pretty mellow couple, no kids, and like fast rides..............

  6. Tell him to go sign up at the local 12 operating engineers union. Apprentice pay is around 36-38 an hour right now. Full benefits, and retirement starts building as soon as you start. Apprenticeship lasts for 3 years, I think, then after that it's journeyman pay. It's like 56 an hour as of now, but will be higher in 3 years. If he is any good on an excavator, he will do fine. Pm me if you have questions about how it works.

  7. Lifetime brand coolers at Walmart. Made in USA. Roto-molded, comes in 28, 50, and 70 qt.

I've been using the 28 at work for about 3 years now. Tough as nails, doesn't leak, and holds ice for days without issues. And much more affordable then other name brands.

  8. So the rear door is opening is 94 wide and 74 tall.

Previous owner replaced the floor with thicker plywood.

It was used as a delivery trailer before I bought it, so like a said before, it's beat up pretty bad. There are tons of dents and dings, and overall it's pretty ugly lol

I've used it for 4-5 years, and although it's ugly, it gets my car back and forth to the dunes just fine.

I'm selling to get something bigger, it's 16' and my car is just over 15' everything has to be stacked in around the car like tetris. It's just getting annoying.
