  2. Selling my Pace 6x12 Enclosed
    Many upgrades (over $1500 worth)
    Fully insulated
    Enclosed underbelly
    Heavy duty tie downs
    Flip down beds
    Windows
    Work bench
    120v shore power
    Rubberized roof coating.
    Flipped axle lift
    Numerous hooks for hanging gear

I built it for a hunting shack but would also work well for motorcycle day or overnight type trips. Great jeep trailer etc.

A comparable new trailer without upgrades is $7500 plus tax.

    My bottom dollar is $6,000

  4. That is not cash in your account that is a dollar value of stocks owned.

so if you bought a stock at $1 and you cash out now to buy an RV that stock is not worth a $1 so you will now take a loss on that stock purchase.

so if you pull out 20k in cash it probably cost you 30k to buy those stocks that you just sold to get your 20k.

a loan on a 20k trailer will be like $175.

which is less than a tank of fuel. So why mess with your retirement over such small amount of money?

Or.... it keeps you diligent about maintenance and about what you are physically doing......like driving your entire family and lots of money in toys.  What do I know though I drink COORS light lol. Carry on. 🤙🏼

Oh my bad I thought that was a responsibility.

  6. Only debt I have is my home.

It’s called hard work and living within your means. If you borrow money you pay it back.
Don’t write a check your ass can’t catch. All we are doing is teaching this generation is you get a trophy for coming in last and if you can’t hack life someone will be there to bail you out.

This is a sink or swim world kids, the sooner you figure that out the better off you will be.

  7. I have had a dual slide bumper pull 37’ long 10,800 empty. Had everything a 5th had except large outside storage.
Pulled great with a long bed 6.4Hemi.

5th wheels you have to deal with the heavy hitch when you want to use your bed. The front cap will catch more head wind and cleaning the bugs off that tall SOB sucks.

Like everything in life it depends on what is most important to you.

My bill for the last month up here was $86. Temps have been mostly in the 90's with a few 100+ days and we keep the house @ 72* 24/7. I also get a 25% discount as a retired employee.

The utilities down there have been mismanaged. They throw money around like the Biden administration and how they stay in business is to rape their customers every month. I know 3 guys that quit up here and headed south to scoop up some of that easy money working for contractors in PG&E service territory. I was talking to one the other day that said he was on track to make $500k this year not counting perks. Another one is making bank and living up here and working remote.

    It's outrageous.

    I turned down $84hr contracting for PG&E.

They pay well but can cut you on a moments notice.

  9. You guys with high electric bills don’t forget how old and inefficient your home is.

My home is 2179 sq ft built in 2005 we keep the house 74-76. And with my 25% discount my bills still goes over $400 at times.

Electricity is expensive but inefficient homes make matters worse fast.

27k for me, first 5 bundles were short 100.00

i handed it back and said I don't have time for these games, get it right and call me.

He pulled to the end of the parking lot and I drove off. He had left the bank in Arkansas and drove in like 6 hours and the bank teller shorted him. He didn't count it because the bank said they ran it thru the machine. In a panic he ran to an atm and used 2 cards to get the 500.00 and had the bank call me to apologize they found the  missing money.

It was 42k for me. When I counted it $1000 short. Buyer recounted it was correct. My wife counted it $1000 short. His wife counted it $1000 short.
it was banded from the bank so he said it should be right. He went back to his AMG Mercedes and brought back another wad and counted off the $1000.

    It was stressful.

probably counted on my trusting the bands from the bank.

Depositing multiple times under $10k that adds up to, or over $10k, will generate the same federal documentation as a $10k deposit. I deal in a cash heavy business, ask me how I know.

Yeah I had 4 deposits spread over a month. I Might fly under the radar a bit better than you lol.

  12. Cash or cashiers check.

just deposit it less than 10k at a time.

Counting out large sums really sucks though. I had a buyer come up short $1000 and we had to count numerous times.

If that is accurate. That’s not an easy shot without stress. Add in the stress of the situation and that’s pretty damn impressive.
