  1. This fire started 7 miles away from my house. I’m in an evacuation area. The main road to my house is closed 1 mile away. We have some neighbor friends who’s husbands are staying behind. The fire is probably 4 miles away and ash is falling all over my house. Unfortunately we are in utah for the weekend so I’m getting reports from my neighbors. 0 % contained. Please pray for the wind to stop and fireman to stay safe snd be as Effie client as they can

  2. I understand that companies in the past had no sales tax for inter-state sales from state to state but that has changed

it appears there is requirements for companies to now collect sales taxes for all sales to all states? and there are not 1200 tax rates but 12,000 different tax rates based on what state, county and even cities you may be in.  it would be like a full time job, some states fiscal year is different, now you would need to have resale certs for all states to your business to business sales, etc  then the taxes need to be sent to each state by their deadlines

any info would be great.  how about when is compliance necessary, can it go retro or how does one get started.  i have seen a few webinars and its daunting to think about

The hurdle I am running into it that it was last registered in Idaho (maybe 8 years ago).  Nobody wants to touch it in California.  I am about to drive it down the street and just park it.....geeze

I don't have 60 days for the most part, unless I want to store it my house.  My Dads house is going to get listed in the next 45 days.

Maybe I will post on Craiglist, free car come get it?

i did that once at my shop about 15 years ago, somebody dropped a car off at my shop that was unreasonable to repair, couldnt get a hold of them for months, i just dragged it onto the street with some floor jacks, it got tagged and towed away---maybe not totally legal but was easy....make sure you are wearing your ninja suit and do it after 10pm LOL

The stuff running down the wall could easily be sap dripped from a branch that is above that spot....if there is a branch above that spot.

not sap. no branch above, to me it looks like the stain they used for the fence  i have a friend that can do soil samples for me cheap but the time it happened (probably 6 months ago) means lots of the VOC's have escaped

Not what was meant, and I’m pretty sure you know that. But your retaliation and my retaliation are two separate things. A lawsuit is not illegal. Cutting off fingers is possibly another story.

haha, i understand.  i hate having to pursue this but feel like if i dont then this crap will never end.

a lot of the suggestions are vicious on here, but cant tell you i havent thought or entertained them in my mind for a moment 🙂

  6. i like my renter, but he is as ticked off as i am.  I didnt know that integrity and pursuing a lawsuit are mutually exclusive? so i hope you guys dont think less of me if i pursue anything here.   im going to do some cheap investigative work and will file a police report for vandalism. a tree like that and to replace would clearly be over the small claims limit of $10k and would be a felony.  at least we can say that "substance found" did come from their back yard as its running down my 2 foot retaining wall from only one direction.  im thinking they cant deny it came from their place  i like the idea of contacting the owner directly with some evidence, maybe he doesnt know.

    stay tuned..............................

  7. i have a rental home in corona, my backyard goes up a little hill to the neighbors home with a 2 foot retaining wall and on top of it is a wooden fence/  on my hillside i have a few trees that were there when i bought the house.  about 3 years ago the neighbor who rents his home to his son sent me a letter asking me to cut down my tree in the corner, said if it falls down it would hit his house.  i went over to me rental and its a big tree but was healthy and wasn't even threatening his home.  i told him (in a letter or email) that i was not going to cut my tree back as it doesn't even pose a threat.  then last month my renter tells me my tree is dying or dead and i should come over and check it out.  then 4 days ago he calls me and said my tree was poisoned.  i asked him how he knows that.  he said there is a black stain on the concrete retaining wall like the neighbor poured liquid in my yard and the trunk is very black.  so i just got back from looking at it.  the guy drilled two holes in my tree about 1" diameter going straight into the trunk down at a 20 deg angle.  probably pour poison or wood stain into the hole  there is really ugly looking dried sap oozing out all over the place.

i will include a video and pics shortly.  this tree will cost thousands just to remove let alone try to replace this 50 foot tree.  i feel like i want to pursue legal options.  i think my first thing is to call an arborist, then have the bark, sap and ground analyzed to see if they can tell it was poisoned.  problem is i can prove "he" poured it but its all circumstantial evidence but he is the "only" person who had access, the holes are drilled directly perpendicular from his fence.  it would have been really easy when he was replacing the fence.

    what would you do?

I’ve been looking at adventure bikes lately. You have a preference?

well the BMW 1250 is way more expensive and less HP  maybe a tad soomther but for the loss in power i prefer the KTM  lots of cool electronic features on the KTM

KTM for me and $4-6000 less  i also like to split lanes and those big cylinder heads dont do it for me.  the BMW is a great looking bike
