what's the best smaller 20"-ish size for my trailer since its just the wife and I most of the time now days?

Do you have a ton of solar and huge battery bank? The electric griddle might be a good choice.

The 22" Blackstone that Camino has is a good choice. Its versatile and you can place it on a counter. Negative is that you need to lift it. For some people with a bad back that might be impossible.

I have the 22" with built in legs and 2 wheels. That would be a good choice for home use and if you own a toyhauler. Because you can wheel it up the ramp nice and easy. Takes up more space and you cant stash it inside a storage area.

  2. Doing a water pump on a 7.3L.

Supposed to use a special tool to loosen the big fan nut. One video showed a guy using a hammer and chisel.

On a FB forum couple dudes said they read to use an air chisel.

Thats what i did and worked great!! It lives in my truck. Thinking it might come in handy out in glamis sometime.

The air chisel is pretty small too. Dont need room to swing a hammer around.

Some of you guys probably already know this trick. Was new to me.

Almost gave up because it was grooving the nut pretty deep. Once the groove developed i was able to adjust the angle and sure enough saw it rotate.

Was worried because the local autozone and orielly wasnt showing the tool in stock.

Seems like a good deal?? early black Friday deal... what do you griddle experts think?  This would be for my backyard. https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/blackstone-36-in-4-burner-hard-top-griddle-1866?cm_vc=-10011

First thought was they upgraded the hood to take up less space.

Now it looks like the hood is not on a pivot? Is it like a weber grill where you hang it off the edge?

This might be a case where they have leftover griddles without a hood. So they include a separate freestanding hood and hope people dont notice.

  4. Its kind of funny because most people, myself included, do too many wraps. Youre probably better off using white on gas!!!

That joke might make sense to some.

I like the link Kraut posted. Read it though. Understand what its saying. I believe the idea is that you can tell a worker to wrap a certain pipe, with X amount of wraps, using a certain color of PTFE tape. It brings a consistency to the jobsite. Reduces liability maybe for the boss? Who can show that he taught his workers the correct procedure.

You cant really say...."hey if you only have white tape just wrap it more because its thinner"

But again like said earlier i prefer using yellow on gas. Makes me feel better. I also wrap it twice as much as i should. So thats the joke part. I would be better off using white if im going to over apply each time!!

  5. Its just thicker though. Probably started for some code to have its own cute color.

White tape is still safe for gas if thats all you have. Maybe wont pass an inspection in some states....that i dont know.

  6. Hope im not wrong but white teflon tape is just thinner than yellow. If youre out in glamis and can only find white tape dont worry. Just add more wraps. I personally have yellow and use it. So cheap having both is no big deal.

No propane connectors. That is worthy of a thread. I dont know how 90% of trailers out there dont have propane leaks at the regulator hoses. Its a swivel fitting and prone to leak.

I hope they ban him from Racing if he did what they say he did, paying off some guy to take out his teammate!

Im not clear on the exact story. Either Friese and/or his mechanic asked the guy on the starting line to takeout Brayton for 2000 bucks. The guy on the starting line apparently appears to laugh. It was caught on the broadcast but i havent seen it.

Pretty sure Friese is denying it 100%.

  8. Also is it possible you are looking around more side to side? You might trigger the motion sickness with the simplest of head movement. Timing is everything. Just turning your head a fraction of a second different might trigger the nausea. Imagine a guy with a jeep trying to crawl a stick shift up and down rocks. Being precise is easy when youre younger. I feel like just maintaining basic equilibrium becomes more of a struggle with age.

  9. For 5 years the vehicle is exactly the same? No change in seatbelt or helmet?

Tossing out random ideas i notice i get motion sickness when i turn my head to look sideways at the same time the vehicle makes a change in direction. My brain is expecting to go straight, when the little equilibrium hairs sense a change. I think that is what causes the sick feeling.

    ......

Seeing the new posts. Wonder whats in the patch. They must know what causes the nausea.

  10. If you wear earbuds a lot make sure to clean them and also clean out youre ears. Ive been getting car sick easier as i get older (43 now). Trying to figure out the cause. Besides getting older for me the biggest change in daily habits was how many hours per day i had an earbud in. It traps bacteria that could then effect the little hairs in your ear that tell you which side is up and which is down. When that signal in your ear doesnt match the gforces your body feels is when i think motion sickness develops.

My second guess is a disruption in that signal.

  11. Someone with a degree in human psychology might even classify Friese as a psychopath. Seems like a scary murder word but really all it means is youre not able to feel empathy towards others. Can function in society. Yet take out your teammate and lie straight faced saying it was an accident. He might even start to believe the lies.

  12. I thought he wrote 28" high. Looking back ElCamino said 28"wide and 36 high.

My adventure model with wheels on 1 side is more 33" to the work surface.

Could put harbor freight balloon tires on it for a lift!! Like they do with the rolling jacks.
