  1. WSX was kind of boring to watch. Felt like cheesy Arenacross. Camera footage was horrible. Watching Ken pull the quad was cool but still the footage was so bad it wasnt all that entertaining for me.

Possibly because of track conditions? I think it was Kenny who said that was the slickest track that anyone had seen in a long long time.

I did enjoy making superpole jokes though. Hey sweetie, do you like sports?

  2. Toyhauler kitchen sink has been falling down since the previous owner. I stuck a piece of wood under there to keep it propped up and resealed it. Been water tight and worked ok for several years. I removed the support wood and a small crack developed.

It almost looks like they used a form of hot glue gun to attach the undermounted metal sink to the granite counter. Has anyone tried or heard of someone using a heat gun to remelt the glue while keeping the sink pushed upward?

The adhesive has a yellowish tint and the dried shape looks very similar to dried hot glue. Still semi flexible. Not sure i could heat up the granite enough before the wooden cabinets start to suffer. I believe its just a laminate.

  3. Family project? Joannes has foam and fabric. I bought some to redo my tw200 seat years ago. Ended up borrowing a spare seat from my spare tw200. Now they both need to be redone. Cant say for sure how stiff or durable the foam is. If for your girls they could pick out a custom fabric. Make sure to find coupons online though. Places like that usually have 30 or 40 percent off all day everyday and they take expired coupons.

  4. Im sure lots of people here notice other tow vehicles in daily life driving around. The scary one to me is the SUV that appears to be stink bugging. When the rear end looks likes its being lifted up by the trailer. Its more common to see the opposite. SUV with the rear end slammed.

  5. Slight little variant is a trailer with surge brakes. In that situation hitting the tow vehicle brakes can help when the trailer is whipping around. I almost wadded it up on the 60 east, right around the 57 where it goes downhill. Had an 85 Blazer towing a flatbed trailer with surge brakes. I used to have an old vw powered sandrail. For some reason i had the sandrail loaded a little further back on the trailer. With my dirtbike at the front. It wasnt enough tongue weight. Seemed to tow fine out of hacienda heights. I was on the downhill section near the 57 and the trailer started swaying bad. Really really bad everyone behind me slowed down. Was before cell phones or i would have made the internet idiot list of the day. Lucky i didnt hurt anyone. I pulled over and did something to adjust the load. Was heading out to GH late on a thursday to do 2 laps before my hands would go numb. I could feel how hitting the brakes was bad, but i was going downhill, so throttling out only meant it would later start to swing again at 10mph faster. In that rare example i was super light on the brakes. Got it under control and pulled over. Having electric trailer brakes now is great. Im always swinging the manual control.

I actually have been thinking of an idea. I want to measure my current trailer tongue weight. Im mostly curious how high it gets loaded with 200g water and 2 motorcycles in the back. I dont have much weight at the tail. My plan is to use a normal scale for humans. But rig it with pieces of wood to cut the weight in half. Have 2 platforms with a solid piece of wood across. Trailer tongue in the middle. One platform has the scale and should read pretty close to half the total weight im hoping. I want to load everything like im heading to glamis and then start to add fresh water from empty and record how it changes. If the number is really high i will take extra effort to move everything heavy to the back. Extra propane. Gas cans from my truck bed can go at the very rear of the trailer if needed.

  6. I wake up at 3am to head down the cajon pass and deal with the 10 east. The potholes are so bad i would drive with my right side tires over on the shoulder at times. In order to straddle the potholes. Coming back westbound with no right shoulder is super sketchy. We hit morongo a lot its still all jacked up there. (as of a couple weeks ago)

If you guys have dedicated tow vehicles i would do as rockwood suggested and have a tire shop crank as must caster as they safely can. Go for straight line stability.

I have a bumper pull around 30 feet and have tried different WD setups. Having sway control made a world of difference.

  7. Untreated gray can get really effn gross. But have you ever met his slightly dysfunctional cousin named Untreated Black Tank?

Seems stupid but look into it for you guys who dump at home into septic. No biggie if you camp and dump a couple times a year. Also no biggie if you get your septic pumped much more frequently than most. There are situations where getting pumped is not an option.

Maybe there is a drain pipe cleanout back there? He could dump into that. Hopefully its not a planned full time gig and hes just staying temporary. Just because the neighbors are nice doesnt mean they dont have a kid with issues. Who has a poor choice of friends. A face to face conversation could end up with him paying a little bit more attention to whats parked next door. Like a newly washed RV.

I would totally judge him by how he looks and go from there. If the kid is a nice friendly young man then it could be safe. If he looks like he is staying at his parents backyard trying to recover from a meth addiction thats a different story.

  8. I would put up a camera right away. Amazon can have it tomorrow or i think Lowes or Home Depot is stocking them.

Install a cheap 32gb micro SD card. Even if there is no internet down at the dump site the camera will record to the SD card. Will hold about a weeks worth of video.

You could then bring the camera closer to your house where it gets the wifi signal and download the videos. Or remove the SD card and put into a laptop to view the videos.

I agree gray tank can smell horrible. I dump mine using a 5gallon bucket. Lately been using pine sol down my p traps when ive leaving town. Let it sit there for a week or two. Then come back and use the trailer as normal. Pine sol ends up in the gray tank. Its made 3 of my 4 tank level sensors begin to work. It also loosened up black gunk. Never seen that gunk before. Started using pine sol and sure enough black stuff ends up in the bucket too. ALso the smell is much much noticeably not as nasty. Point being gray tank in the summer can smell horrible. REally bad. But its distinctly different than the other stink. I read of the pine sol trick on an RV forum. Someone claimed they camped with a guy who cleaned RV tanks for a living and recommended pine sol. I toss borax in there too. One trick i did was pour borax in the sinks first and then the pine sol. It blocks the p trap for a few hours so the pine sol can sit higher up in the drain.

If he is new to camping i could him trying to drain gray. If he attempted black tank that would be scary. Not the kind of people you want to have to deal with. Anonymous tip might be better than face to face. If its 50/50 that a face to face will end in a war with neighbors.

  9. Thats what a video said. I think they got him to not race that other series that Roczen is doing. Something like he was sorta planning to do it, but now dropping out and will be announced to team honda.

This is what i watched. Heard of Vital. First ever video i watched of them. Seem pretty cool i would listen again.

  10. Be fun to go see that. Its something like 2000 feet of fencing needed.

Watched something that said Honda is going to replace Roczen with......try to guess.

    Hint: 5 cents

Easier hint: dont read this if you want to try the harder one first....blah blah....woof woof....bark like a big dog said Eddie Murphy....easier hint is hes named after a gun yep yep its a secret.

Terrible pain at 2:00 am Thursday morning.  ER at 6:00 am, gall bladder removed at 4:30 pm, home at 4:30 pm yesterday missing said gall bladder.  Morphine is a hell of a drug.  No pain meds after surgery, did not need them, sure needed them before that mess was removed.

Thats scary. Where was the pain incase it happens to me or a loved one? I could see my brother being stubborn and calling it food sickness. Ride it out in bed at home.

Well On a Personal Note I work for a Very BIG Global Delivery Service and they sent an email out this week and started this STUPID program this week of NO drivers get any OT anymore. This hasnt been an issue for as long as I have worked there so in a Nut shell My season might be over before it starts.

With xmas coming? Is the company thinking the drivers are purposely working a tad slower in order to get OT? Or that the drivers will now work faster than normal? You guys are already fast. I see a lot of drivers jogging from the truck to the house.

San Clemente or Oceanside he will need to keep it locked up tight and it will be difficult to find parking.

Yep lots of military guys in Clemente. Im here now. Neighbors are saying Talega has been getting hit recently with home robberies. I got a 7.3 as well but mine is pretty beat up. Nice ones do get stolen. OrangeR told me years ago to install a kill switch. As mentioned above have your son look into one.
