  1. I like the renegades, that’s probably why I got one. Tomorrow will be the first time towing a trailer with it, hopefully it performs as promised. 600hp and dt12 trans. I think the renegade type coach will do a superior job over a diesel pusher any day.

  2. She worked stocking shelves at night at walmart until 1 or 2 am until she was 88. She got fired for clocking out and going back to dust the shelves off, they weren’t impressed. She got into an accident which was not her fault but she could not tell us if she stopped at stop sign or not, she did not get another car after that.

  3. She passed away today at 96, lived a long life. Pretty fricken awesome I had a grandma until I was 55.

I will say things went to hell with Covid being stuck at home made her very week but she lived on her own until about a year ago when dimentia kicked in, prettty sad ending she didn’t know anybody but my parents this year.

she wasn’t supposed to make it to last Christmas, but she fought to the end. We had her playing golf last Christmas. She had been bed ridden most of this year

  4. This is a chit show, I’m in riverside county home and business on same property and here is what they want from us.

we have a 4 yard dumpster currently for all waste.

    no cardboard in container

    no green waste in container

    no food in container

no bottles or cans in container.

    no pallets or wood.

Riverside county does subsidize or mandate that waste management provide these services though, and we have to provide a trail of where it is all going for a yearly audited

we cannot get a recycling container, we have to take it ourself and we have to keep an audited trail with receipts for everything that needs recycling.

same with wire and cans and bottles

same with green waste, we asked about this and they don’t offer anything whether we have regular cans or not

no clue on the food, I gave up on listening

Keep in mind this is home and business. What a complete waste of time and energy

But but but.. If I have a Class A I can only be .04BAC... another internet legend.

I'll believe it's being enforced when I see an actual ticket posted. Kinda like when people say the non-pass ticket is $300-$500. BS, got one a few years ago and it was $100. Plus a $10 late fee cause I forgot pay it. Imperial Sheriff's sent a nice letter saying hey man, pay this please. So I did.

Mean time I'll just keep my Class A CDL and not worry about towing any of my triple axle trailers.

Yep that there is the answer, the only thing I did not get with my license was Haz mat, and hauling people in a bus. Now I can drive pretty much anything on the street

  6. Also something to think about here.

all the 3 axle trailers out there essentially require a class a license with the exception of    a 5h wheel Rv up to 15k with endorsement.

The reason I say this is why would you build a trailer with 3 3500 lb axles?  Pretty easy for the man to figure out your gvwr on trailer from far away.

I grabbed this off of desert whips Facebook group.

I've been doing some research at work for commercial and non commercial licenses. Buddy of mine that is working at the scales wanted to give me the heads up for good Ole CA .

Chp check points are going to start happening more frequently around big riding areas (glamis, ocotillo, etc)

    10k-15k rv endorsement needed now

15,001lb gvwr non commercial class a or they tow your setup. New laws for the new year.

It's no longer a combined gvwr of over 26,001lbs

Old laws, I got the endorsement in 2004. The laws have not been enforced.

    I have a class a now though

  8. So I went through this a couple years ago.

I get a couple letters that I ignored at our business, then we got a few phone calls from county. We were informed we have to get a cardboard dumpster. So I call waste management and they deliver one, they didn’t pick up I call again then again before they realize they don’t offer recycling in my area. They come and take the dumpster back. I’m off the hook right? NOT. Now I get a yearly audit of how we are disposing of all cardboard, all pallets, and all green waste. We can’t give it away, we can’t let someone have, we have to have receipts and tracking on how and where we recycle this stuff.

    it’s nonsense

Safelite did my Viper Coupe... I insisted on OEM glass ..Leaked on first wash - they resealed and ruined the OEM glass and only would replace it with non- factory.  I ended up paying the dealer to replace it.   Not the best experience, however on the Chevy truck it was fine, out and in in less than an hour - no issues - so go figure ,,,

Exactly my concern and my feelings

Comp claims are fine, have to pay your deductible, but they don't count as an at fault in CA, can't affect your rates... something hit it , your fine.

Yep, it’s been 25 years since I had a claim of any sort. Had to think and review it all

$250 deductible, the lowest comp deductible of all the cars I have.

maybe I’ll load it up on my $1700 trailer and take it to dealer

Just be careful with the AM ,  Make sure Safelite will be able to program the ADAS systems once it's in... they are better now, but we had some issues.  Does it have the rain sensors?  then they need the special urethane.....

Yes it has the rain sensors, I’m very concerned about anybody but BMW doing it. Any of my other cars no issue. Parked it in back until I decide what to do

Is this like the 100k sandrail on a $1,500 trailer? 😆

Seriously tho, I feel your pain. I've been ignoring the crack on my Honda Pilot and it only goes 105mph lol comfortably.

No my trailer is a few dollars more than that
