Had NO idea this was your old car! Even more stoked now that she's back in the GD fam

Flashpoint and I will be down in G this weekend....if you happen to be in the neighborhood! Car looks great! She never left me walking in all the years I owned her. I'll have to dig up some of my old photos of it on the jig at Funco.

  5. We left vendor row today and headed towards gecko on buggy highway. We came across a RZR that was burned to a crisp a little before comp hill. Paramedics and fire were on scene treating one person. Couldn't quite tell from a distance but it looked like he may have suffered some burns.

Anyone happen to know if the guy was ok?

  6. I've roughed in and installed several urinals in residential homes over the years. Providing you have a 2" sanitary sewer line nearby and at least a 3/4" cold water line available, its not all that difficult. Like others are suggesting, stay away from waterless.

My suggestion would be to go with a Sloan 186 1 pint flush valve and a Kohler 5024 urinal. The trap will be exposed below so you have options on how to rough, rather than being concealed. (Assuming you're installing in a garage). There's also Keg urinals out there. Something a little different and cool for a garage.

Plenty of YouTube stuff out there if you're a do it yourself kinda guy

  7. We just moved and I have a bunch of broken down cardboard boxes I will give to any fellow duner who wants them. I've got a couple tape guns, tape, bubble wrap and shrink wrap I will throw in as well! I spent about $600 on all of this stuff.

I Live in Agua Dulce, just north of Santa Clarita.

  10. Repipe the house. If this is this first slab leak, there will be more to follow. Might not happen right away but it will happen. Most track home plumbers back in the day didn't take any care when rolling out soft copper. One little dent, crease or fold in the pipe causes water turbulence and over years will cause leaks. And that's not including electrolysis caused by poorly wrapped piping.

And get your homeowners insurance involved. No matter what direction you go, the repair and replacement will far exceed your deductible. If you tear up the floor trying to fix it and it turns out to be a bigger problem than you anticipated, they may revoke the claim. Some of these carriers can be real bastards when dealing with them.
