So I smoked my rear paddle last weekend and need to buy a new set. I think I currently have the 14.50 X 15 Dunesport with the #1 cut( might have been a #2 originally but tires were pretty worn when I bought the car.)  I really like the way the tire works now but just curious if the #2 cut might be better now for the power I am making now. (600 HP Subaru)

If your in San Diego I have a like brand new set with #2 cup if you want to check them out. I will be putting them up for sale soon. Send me a message if you are interested.

  2. It's tough, especially on hot days.

All new paint and flooring are a must. Ceiling often times flat paint and absorbed holds the worse. Definitely clean and paint ceiling.

Not sure on which window coverings you have but you may want to check that too.

Have the HVAC system cleaned before the finish work is completed.

I have both a 2 post and 4 post.  For working on vehicles, 2 post is the way to go.  My four post also has a sliding floor jack in the rails for jacking up vehicles while on the lift to remove wheels.  This is fine if your main objective is storage, but want to do some work.  If you mainly want to work on vehicles, get the 2 post.

i have the Challenger Versymmetric.  Purchased from Best Buy Automotive in Temecula.

Thank you, this is exactly what I was looking for.

Cant help you with a contact for purchase but can give you a real world recommendation. I have a Bendpak 10k asymmetrical extra tall. It has been awesome. I’ve had it in use about 6 years now and it has never missed a beat. The asymmetrical gives you more door clearance for getting in/out. I use it for everything from my SxS, Sandrail to a F350 crew cab diesel. Not working on the ground is a game changer. I plan to never be without one again.

Thank you, I’ve been wanting one for a while but haven’t bought one. Worked on my jeep a week ago in a shop on a lift and told my self I need one now! Trying to find someone local to help with shipping.

  5. I want to get a lift for the garage and wanted to check and see if any members sell them.
I have been leaning towards Rotary or Bendpak.

Im also a little torn on 2 vs 4 post lift.

leaning towards a two post for versatility and size. Primarily sand car & jeep work, not so much for storage.
Any feedback from you guys that maybe purchased one or wished you purchased a different one?

    Thank you in advance.

The fact that Federal and State governments...including the CDC...could make laws that prevent landlords from evicting non-paying renters and STILL be liable for their property mortgage, told me everything I needed to know to never want to be a landlord.

I have been listing and selling quite a few homes with delinquent tenants. It's really sad to see small mom and pop investors in trouble because the system allows the tenants to get away with this.  It's definitely risky these days to be a CA residential landlord that's for sure.

  7. Funny, I see posts forgetting socks or underwear.

I guess my funny story of forgetting was getting to the desert realizing we forgot the dog in the house! I guess it's not too funny, but we did have to make two trips to the desert that day.

One funny memory as a young child I have, and I'll start by saying I'm not trying to "offend" anyone here (disclaimer).

Long time ago before the LGBTQ- - probably missing a few, and the rainbow flag wasn't as well-known of a symbol, my father strung up a large rainbow flag on a pole attached to our RV. We had a flashing light at night and this flag during the day to mark the camp. Not sure where he got the flag, but I am sure it was free hints the reason he used it. Well, we had several very friendly visitor's stop by our camp and my father just didn't understand what was happening. Well one told my father what the flag symboled and it was funny to see how fast he pulled that flag down.

  8. Went to the gym this am. Typically 80 / 20 masked. Today only one or two people had a mask on.

Went to starbuck's after the gym and there were zero masks.

Went to target on the way to work and it was 50 / 50. I was not approached by anyone to put a mask on. Upon leaving the cart gal mumbled something at me but I didn't stop to listen to her.

    Hopefully this trend continues.

  9. Three rules!

    1) You need a huge pile of wood in the center of camp.

    2) You need a ton of cones, couple folding tables spread out. Next level is to lock a side x side at the edge of the road too.

    3) Last you need caution tape but make sure you rip it in a few places so it looks like its been there for a while.

When the banks start offering loans to illegals and anyone else with no proof because the homes are just going up and up and up like in 2006 0r so. Then we need to worry.

Oh wait, the banks are doing that now....

Been happening for a while as scary as that is. Some areas are cooling a little, not sure if it’s cooling down or if people have just been too distracted lately.

  11. We went anticipating it to be smaller or possible restrictions. I would have liked to see more sand cars but that's just a sign of the times. All in all we had an absolute blast and very happy with the turn out.

  12. Recently I have seen 90 - 120 for shop rates and I have seen 55-65 for private one man show rates.

I have no problem paying 90/120 or even 160 an hour for quality but another thing I have seen with the lack of employment is a

15 dollar an hour kid performing the work at 120 shop rate. That has been a bit of an issue around here.
