Shasta Lake is the best. 

Every summer my parents would take us up there and stay at Antler's Resort for 2-3 weeks at a time.

My bro and I got our intro to Slalom skiing a course up there at Mike Suyderhoud's Ski School.

That lake is awesome, water is warm in the summer. Also learned to Barefoot ski up there. 

Miss the waterskiing days...that was our family's thing. Shasta, Havasu, Parker, Puddingstone, Pyramid lake and Castaic!

Great times.

I had mine re-done. Went with the pebble sheen love it smooth as plaster yet it is an amazing blue. Was so happy with the interior of the remodel of the pool. Then they dropped the hose in the pool and let it fill over night.  Walked out in the morning and I could see where the hose had moved around. They had to have a guy come out and re-polish it to get the hose mark out.  Sure enough it went away, For about two weeks longer then the warranty.

 

Don't even ask about the decking remodel.

 

And if I could I would fill mine in tomorrow but my yard is to small to put another one in if I sell and it would drop the price of my house to much.

They are supposed to cover the end with a soft towel and tie it to an empty plastic bottle for flotation. Also the hose is supposed to be wrapped as well!

Awesome! That came out great. Years of enjoyment to come.

Seeing your dog in the pool before it was filled brought back what happened when we redid ours.

So when we redid our backyard and pool...we went with white plaster and as it filled up, I went outside the next morning and it was almost filled....

well, the Raccoons came by at night and had a party while the pool was filling up and put their little footy prints all over the shallow end.

At first I was like WTF??? Then my wife and I laughed and thought, well...it's a conversation piece for sure!

The prints aren't imbedded in or indented...just the oil from their feet marked the plaster so it looks lighter then the actual plaster.

Little turds!

All I know is our home has doubled in price in 10 years since we bought. Insane, but I'll take it...just hope it keeps on going that way and hopefully it's paid off by the time I retire.

This is going to hopefully be an EPIC outdoor season....so much going on!

Webb: He wants to prove that he can do it outdoors and pull off both championships.

Roczen: is gonna give it all he has since SX got away from him.

Tomac: I think the guy that is going to put it all out there for One, he got beat by Ozborn last season and wants a 4th Championship. B, he's parting ways with Kawi and probably wants to go oh yeah, you're letting me go after all this? Furthermore, I think he's still the fastest guy in the outdoors and I want him to go annihilate the competition.

Barcia: Definitely gonna be a contender as he's probably figured his bike and team out and he's fast outdoors.

Anderson: Had some bad stuff happen in SX and he's probably pissed where he ended up.

AC: Been sitting out for a bit but has probably been training like crazy if he's all healed up.

Ferrandis: He blew away his competition outdoors in the lites, this will be in interesting test for him.

Sexton: Has some good momentum after the last few rounds of SX and is hungry

Then, you have all the other guys that are just as capable, Stewart, Plessinger, Wilson, Savatgy, Musquin, etc...holy moly this should be fun!

The field is so stacked it's crazy...should make for some good racing. And that's just the 450's...the lites is gonna be good too!

Basically, I can't wait!
