    FYI for diesel owners...

DO NOT RUN BIO-Diesel! Told to me from the dealer!

Bio diesel clogs up fuel rails and injectors. Since it is a fuel issue, not covered under warranty!

    :simrak:

I don't run that crap anyways, but just thought I would let others know.

445k miles on my 2006 LLY and my sons LBZ Dmax and ran plenty of B20 and R99. Never an issue. 296k on my 2014 Dmax and no issues,  86k on our 2021 no issues. People love blaming the fuel.

the issue with those new trucks is they still have the CP4 pump and that's the week point... if they retrofitted back to the CP3 i'd be all in

Funny you say that. A friend just picked up a 6.7 yesterday from a dealership in San Bernadino and 2 miles down the road the CP4 let go.

Going back to gas though! I'm over the diesel...all the electronics, the def, the emissions, fuel filters every other oil change, blah blah blah.

Still sticking with the 2500 HD though.

That's like going back to a Rhino.

  4. Aside from most people watching my 401k and 456 retirement accounts bounce a little I wasn't affected by SVB. So I thought.

My son, who works for me full time, said he didn't get a paycheck on 3/17. Checked Patriot Software and it showed he had been paid. Checked my emails and saw one showing the payroll tax deductions pulled from my account. Checked my business bank account and saw the taxes pulled but not the actual pay. I called Patriot and they said I paid him during the 4 day freeze period. What freeze period? The guy was really nice and said they had to shut down direct deposits because of SVB from 3/10 to 3/14. I did payroll on 3/14. I should have been notified but I wasn't. No big deal, they pulled the taxes and I can just write him a check.

Kind of annoying but a simple resolution.

  5. Got my Eero last week and set it up- FAIL. Tried several times, got my daughter involved and we still couldn't get it working. Hit up YouTube University and there's no trouble shooting videos. Could be my Spectrum modem and router but we just had Spectrum here last year and to check our stuff and only issue they found was a rat chewed up the cable.

I unplug the router from the modem, plug the Eero into the modem, light blinks white, then blue, phone app says found an Eero device, synching, then "we've detected a problem" screen.

Annoying AF. Gave up, Eero is just sitting in the table now.

Same. I'll have Fallon set it up. Finally got Ring security camera and had her do all that too, I just mounted them. Even had her set up the app on my phone. Parenting is easy.

Which eero mesh did you get? Spectrum wifi at my house sucks and we have 'dead' zones in the living room and a couple other spots.

  9. I have a 5 month old Universal Trailers 20' enclosed I'll sell.  Pink in my business name, CA PTI plates were around $150.  Rear door is 104", side door is 30".  Dual 7000lb 8 lug axles, 12v interior lights, single roof vent, electric tongue jack, 5k Badlands winch and a battery on the floor, no water, no fuel, no 120v lights.  This trailer was designed and built for my transpot business to be light and easy to load.  It's been a geat trailer but I have a new design in mind and can't pull the trigger unless I sell this one.  It went straight from Universal to Royalty Coatings to have a sealer and epoxy floor done.  We've put around 5k miles on it so far.

Also, every sandrail we've hauled so far the front end fits between the fenders.

$20K.  It's not advertised anywhere, not desperate to sell, it gets used weekly, especially with all the rain we've had in CA the lately.

This dunebuggy.com Sidewinder with a Chevy Avalanche body is the largest offroad car we've had inside.  It cleared by a couple inches on both sides.

  10. I have a brand new never used Lightening 6x6 CNC plasma table and a 25' machine torch (no water table). I'm keeping the plasma cutter.  Bought it 6 years ago, set it up and it's been sitting. A good friend at the time started running a water jet so I didn't need the plasma. Shortly after I moved from fabrication to maintenance, so again, no need for the plasma.
