  1. Did he happen to live in Valrico Florida, same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago through pay pal and pay pal refunded his money and I never got my parts back. Pay pal told me to pound sand.

  2. I feel the lack of noise a EV would produce going through the dunes could be a little dangerous, I don't think we realize how much we might use hearing to realize there are other duners near by.

  3. I have no problem giving the guy his money back if he ordered the wrong parts or if he thinks my product fit and finish is not what he expected. I like to be fair, not looking to have un happy customers. This guy just wants my product and to not pay for it. Its just annoying it is already hard enough being a small family business trying to manufacture these days. Hopefully pay pal gets me my parts back.

no you got screwed by a thief pretending to be a customer

Yeah you are right, we are to small to lose this money but also to small to be on the phone with paypal for 2 hours like I just was to file a appeal. Every minute I spend trying to get back my parts or money is a minute I am not on the shop floor making money

  5. Sold a steering rack and tie rods to a guy in Georgia. He received the parts and a few days later he filed a case for refund calling the parts Damaged. I said to ship the parts back and I will give you a full refund. Well Pay pal refunded the money and I have not received the parts. I cannot get a response from the buyer or PayPal. Makes me want to buy a plane ticket to Georgia and pick up my parts. Any advice what to do? Looks like I am done accepting pay pal cant afford to give away product.

Just remembered we have a wholesale account with Dewitt's radiator back east. Just talked to them and they can build a radiator off dimensions and photos. 4 to 5 weeks. That does not sound that bad to me although I probably miss some dune time. Then we are in Ireland for two weeks in April which is my favorite time to Dune. That and May. Oh well this season looks like it's going to be a little thin.

Ron Davis in Glendale is building me a new one right now, I paid an expedite fee and it should be done the week after new years.

Nice!  Used to run a door-slammer series (USTCC, then Pacific Tuner Car) that allowed turbocharging...

But required OEM transmissions.  Cry-treatment meant finishing a season before rebuilding transaxles. Cut operating temps as well.

If you have parts that are marginal (930s with LS, for example), worth the relatively low cost if you can jump in on a batch.

All of our CVs we sell come Cryo  treated. Our tank is very large so I take advantage of any space during runs because the amount of liquid nitrogen it uses is not cheap.

    Whats the reason for this?

We see about a 30% - %50 increase in life expectancy of most components treated

Reduces fatigue, wear and corrosion in most metals. increases tensile and yield strength. aligns molecules on a molecular level and also helps dissipate heat better

Also we use it on our machine tooling in house and have seen some carbide tooling life double when turning and milling heat treated alloys.

We were introduced to it through manufacturing gears for the mining industry, now we use it in off road, aerospace, refuse,  and weapon systems industries.

Parker and Lance have been great to work with.  So appreciative of those guys working to keep the parts flow going and our stuff out in the dunes.  Their parts are very high quality and pricing is fair.  So many companies have gone the way of the SXS market and it's nice to have a USA manufactured source of parts for our big cars.

The UTV market is huge and we make a few products and help a few local race teams with some stuff, but we want to stay a sand rail company. Personally I have owned 2 UTVs and now I am in the process of rebuilding a new to me sand rail. UTVs are great just not for me.
