  1. Buddy of mine owns a body shop here in Phoenix.

Already got a pix from a customer.

Side of truck is ruined.  Chrome is dulled, paint is sandblasted.

He was out there last night.

Gecko ranger station showed 52mph gusts is the highest I saw.  Crazy

I sent this to an acquaintance who just got back from the dunes with his Canam replacing 3 CVs and hanging with v8s all weekend. They are in his ear to get a v8 with s4/s5. His budget is 60k.  Really thought this was a solid deal. Oh well. I think he's trying to find another 15/20 to get a v8/s4 combo

To be clear, we told him to get a V8 with a BLOWER.  LOL.

Cort had a rough weekend with that CanAm.

He couldn't get the smile off his face after he rode in the #2 spot in a 2 seat limo that rips pretty good.

Does the power differ from standard to mobile?  600-2500 is a big difference

Yes, my buddy put the mobile on his and can see his auto gen start comes on more than it did before because of the power draw.

I do have 2 deep 6v batteries for the daytime. I am thinking my 12v accessory plug inside my camper will do the trick as we also run the genny as soon as the sun sets till late am hours. Does anyone know the required amps for the power supply? I am gonna try the inverter trick.

    50-75 watts per Starlinks website.

  5. Starlink rocks.

Ours worked great last week at the dunes.

The wife and I both worked on our laptops with no issues.

Only 120V to run the system, but not many amps so you could run it off a small inverter if you wanted to.

Starlink RV will work at home, but not as well as out in the boonies.

Look at the coverage maps on Starlinks website and that will give you an idea of how well it works at home.

I have tmobile on my phone and it works pretty good on Gecko.  I do have a cell phone booster.(directional antenna is a must for great service, otherwise hit or miss)  I put the card in my very very good cellular router and used it all the way up to Idaho and it worked for us great.  ATT in my router works amazing on Gecko. During Pres weekend and new years.  I was getting 50mbs down and we were streaming 3 shows at once.  Yes the carrier makes a big difference but the routers I sell are is the game changer.  I have always had internet in the dunes once I switch to this new router.  At $550 it is amazing.  Next week won't be a big weeekend but I am testing out my Tmobile in the router to see if it is close to ATT.  I will have my ATT card with me as well. I will be on Gecko more than likey on pad 2.5

We will be on Pad 5.  I will come find you and chat.
