My friend sold their Tesla to buy Porsche Taycan, it was in the shop half of the time they owned it. They just went back to a Tesla.

They don't care about world pollution, only the Air over Ca. All of this is only to clean up the air, in the end we might have clean air but can't drink the water due to lead poisoning.

Mountain Lions have huge areas they roam, my area sees one about once a year, I figure they are just making their yearly rounds. Bobcats seems to be multiplying though, seeing them a lot more.

Make sure you get them an Itemized list of charges quickly. If you don't, then they can take you to court and get all the deposit back, even though they thrashed the house.

Must be a Raptor R, my regular 2019 Raptor gets around 16mpg.

I personally love clean slammed trucks, even had a slammed mini truck back in 1985. Put my Motorcycle in the back and hit Indian Dunes and the Desert in it all of the time. A clean dropped dually looks great in my eyes, not very practical though for anything but maybe towing a boat. But taking a stock pick up and putting 22" rims and 50 series tires is plain old stupid.
-
I think 20" rims look good, but they are really pointless on a 4x$ that actually sees the dirt. See a lot of jeeps on 20", typical mall crawler.

Being a foodie, SF and Seattle used to be tops on the West coast................now I won't even entertain those places..............heck I won't even go to Napa. Too many libtards that think their way is the only way.

Years ago, the ASA paid some environmental group to do plant studies in the dunes. They asked for volunteers to drive the Botanist out into the dunes to do these studies. I volunteered, thinking we were only looking for the Milk-vetch. We ended up counting and logging Sand Food, Sunflowers, Milk Vetch and so forth. Was super rewarding and learned a lot about the wildlife in the dunes.

The alarm will prevent it from starting, somehow the alarm is being activated. Even manual unlocking the door, the alarm is still activated. I had this problem one time on a 2009 Ford F150, I can't recall how it went away or how I figured it out...........

I couldn't wait to get the Mag in the Mail, back in those days I had a Johnny Speed and Chrome 2+2 with a 1835cc VW............car was awesome.

3-4 trips a season is about all we can do these days, only 3 trips this season. Wish we could do more trips but fortunately the reason we can’t make a glamis trip is because we are out on another fun trip elsewhere. Nice to see that big group picture posted above, our original group have all but quit going.
Life is good.Same here, I usually get 5 trips a year in, this year only 3 trips (16 days total, I am making my trips longer). We have been doing some other things as well, headed to LaPaz tomorrow, have taken the Raptor out for some day trips off roading, a couple of days skiing (which I haven't done in 6 years), and next month doing the Mojave trail in the truck. All good, staying busy and exploring different things.

The hike up to Mr. Wilson is better, but a lot longer. LOL! Way back in the day I use to mountain bike ride up to Mr. Wilson.
We used to do the car shuttle and ride the bikes down, still took a couple of hours one way.

If you want to go for a drive and you are in Pasadena, a drive up to Mt Wilson never sucks, especially on a clear day.

Problem is who , I suspect Desantis is the deep state solution, he is tight with Ryan and the rest of the Rino's he's doing what he has too now to appear to be "out of the loop" and then if elected will be a Bush globalist and we are doomed. If we get 8 yrs of a Bush presidency, there is no recovering.
Right now our only choice is Desantis.

Trump was a Democrat for a very long time before he switched parties, don't lose sight he was a huge supporter of Bill Clinton. He still has a few Left leaning tendencies.
That being said I did vote for him in 2020, even though I am not a big fan of him, but I do like most of his policies, they are not far leaning right policies, more of middle of the road IMHO. It is time for him to sit back and support someone else. I am tired of old man politics, bring in someone that is still relevant.

This year has been tougher to find weekly passes, at least for our group. This is the reason I buy a season passes every year, I hate stopping to buy a season pass. Another 15 minutes saved for the sand.

Where does it end? Blacks, and then Chinese that built the RR, then the Irish, and then the Japanese during WW2, migrant workers that came here illegally and so forth. I can't afford more dependents, looks like I will be moving out of this country. Do I get to write off all these dependents, asking for a friend?
Why is this even a State issue?
I know these are rhetorical questions, but it is Bullshiat.

A number of years ago, I wanted a V8 rear wheel drive 4 door car..........fact is the options are slim. In ended up with a Cadillac CTS-V, zero regrets. Fun car to drive. I couldn't pull the trigger to own a Dodge, sorry.

Car Brand Loyalty
in General Chat
Posted
My brand loyalty is based on dealer support (in most cases).
My family have been Ford's Trucks for the most part. I do remember Grandpa buying a Chevy Truck in 1982, but that was due to the fact you could get in a diesel (6.2L). Other than that, we always had Ford trucks. That is trucks. For cars, I am no longer chasing fancy cars, get me a car that will last, not super expensive tires, and good mileage. Wife used to have Mercedes, Volvo...now we are rocking a Honda Accord..................simple and never breaks down.
