  1. Not sure the outcome would be different with Trump in office, we should have been out of there 10 years ago or longer.  We accomplished our goals a long time ago.  Why do we think we can change culture in these countries.  Taliban walked into these cities and took them over without even a fight for the most part.  At this point, we protect our assets and let the country figure themselves out or time to let another country or Nato fight.

Please contact me if it comes down to you having to get rid of it on your own. I am in PHX and do NOT need a project, but I have wanted one of these for a while for a light off roader that the family could fit in.

I got it running yesterday, just needed fresh fuel and a battery.  Someone picked it up last night, it needs works but was driveable.

  3. This Blazer has been parked for the last 5 years, it ran when it was parked.  I have zero paperwork for it, last registered in Idaho.  This was my Uncle's car, he passed away 5 years ago.  My Dad picked it up and towed it to his house thinking it was worth something.  My Father never touched it and he passed away, so now I need to get rid of this vehicle.  I tried to donate it, but nobody will take it without a title.  And since it was last registered in Idaho, you must go there to get it..............................I'd rather give it away to someone that will tow it out.

    - 4.3 v6

    - 4 Wheel drive

    - tranny was replaced within 30,000 miles

    - Drivers side window does not work and has been open for the last 5 years as well

    - 224,000 miles

Again, zero paperwork, could be used for parts or made into a rock crawler or something?

Car is located in SoCal (Wildomar)

The virus itself is real. The fact that it has been elevated to the status of a global killer is entirely, 100%, without a doubt, political. And yes, the rest of the world is following suit because of how serious it has been made to be.

There are countless citizens of many, if not most, countries in the world that don’t give two Craps about what America says or does. But you can be sure that everyone of their governments cares deeply and pays close attention to the United States government. Admittedly they only care about the money we give them, but they do care.

    I agree..........

I am currently reading a report on other country's that are currently on lockdown, this is for work and supply issues.  The country's I am looking at are China, Bangladesh, India, Cambodia, Indonesia, Philippines, and Vietnam.  Every country is either lock downed or partially lock downed right now.  What this means for Fall US retail, you thought last year was bad, it might be worse for US retailers (no product) for the next 6 months or more.  This is only production, not transportation related issues.  For the life of me I can't figure out how our Democratic party is controlling all these lockdowns and the virus 🤪

The politicians/media have made the vaccine political, but that is about it.

  5. In Mexico, they take your temp everywhere.  Pretty easy, if your temperature is high, you don't get to enter.  Everyone gets tested, no need to worry about the vaccine and  conspiracy theories.

Really have no idea if this helps or not, but interesting way of dealing with it.  FYI, they also make you walk into a bath of sort for your shoes, I am not aware of any transmissions from my flip flops....................

  6. I don't believe people will line up and get the vaccine even if it was FDA approved.  To me it is a mute point anymore.  People that wanted it have gotten it, and those that don't are strongly opposed to it, for whatever reasons.  Politics and trust of the government aren't going to change anytime soon.  Even if Trump came out and said get the Vaccine because he developed it, people still won't get it.  Covid isn't going away anytime soon, the Flu hasn't.

My long range thoughts, this will shorten our overall life expectancy, "Survival of the Fittest", Natural Selection.

The corrupt elections in CA make me wonder if it can be done. I am not a resident (Just visit Glamis from Oct-Apr) of CA but my brother is. The corrupt way they write the propositions up is crazy. Like the fuel tax repeal.  On the ballot a yes vote sounded like you wanted to stop all road repair. No mention of the fact the money is being used for a bunch of BS that has nothing to do with roads. That is fraud. Lets hope that one Larry Elder can win and change the corrupt CA system.

That isn't just CA, all propositions' and bills in the government have all sorts of shady stuff in them................in every sate and Federal.  It sucks

  9. I was working out a lot during Covid, my gym was sneaky open, then 4 months ago I got tendinitis in my Achilles.  If you haven't had it, you are lucky.  I couldn't walk on it for a week, it is now almost 5 weeks later and it still doesn't feel right.  Every person I talk to says stop doing gym workouts (a soft version of crossfit), I am getting too old (54 yrs old).  My point, at our ages, know your limitations.  I was trying to keep up with 35 yr olds.

During these 5 weeks, I have lost 25lbs of muscle.  Looks great on the scale, but my upper body strength has disappeared.  My PT doctor says to start riding a bike.  I am now contemplating a Peloton or something similar.  Do Cardio and  push ups as my new workout.  Only thing, I hate pedaling, but I might need to for cardio and ease on my body........ugh.

One other thing I have done thru this period, eat half as much for dinner.................

I know it wasn't it was more general, but yeah, I was beaten.

I do worry about where next?  I have reached that point in my life where I am set in my ways and life continues to evolve.  Maybe I'm just out of touch and the "minority" now in what I want for America.  I'm not a giving soul and am pretty hardline on nothing's for free.  The millennials are going to change that.  They want free stuff.  That on top of rising healthcare costs and no one saving or planning for retirement anymore is going to make people vote democrat and for socialism.

I was thinking about retirement and Millennials just yesterday, they arent saving enough at all.  I have been preaching to my kids to start their retirements early.  But this is going off on a tangent.

For everyone I love the fact that people are moving to make their life better, that is great.  But if we don't stand up to California Politics it is going to take over your state/town as well........trust me.  Arizona/Nevada are no longer what it was ten years ago.  My friends that moved there 20 years ago are already looking to move somewhere else because it has turned into Calizona.  We must stop this spread now.

I don't go to the beach all summer long because it is filled with Zoners.🤪

Cookie, I generally appreciate your posts and responses but this is a pretty bold statement.

I was a registered and active voter in CA for 32 years.  I can honestly say that the 1994 Prop 187 BS was the last time my vote was ever counted.  This passed with a strong majority and the liberals overturned it in court.  Once they showed that worked, they rapidly chipped away at any chance of a conservative voice in CA.  Yeah, I had enough and left.

I have been involved in Congressional campaigns, town halls, and as mentioned, an active voter.

I knew that living in CA came at a price.  I didn't mind paying it until the spending got out of control and the ideology became something I couldn't stomach.  I absolutely can't stand seeing a single cent spent on illegals, the gun control BS, I can't stand the gay agenda, the stupid environmental crap they throw and waste money on...admitting it's not science based, not spending money to build and upkeep infrastructure, then above the law BS that liberals live by and the list goes on.  I refuse to let me tax dollars support it.  Sure, AZ turned blue.  Not happy about that.  I do live in an EXTREMELY Red town and county.  It feels good.  I do worry about the exodus of Californians screwing up the rest of the country.  You have no idea how conditioned and programmed you are until you go somewhere else.  I've always said a conservative in CA is a liberal everywhere else.  I am mindful of my political positions.  I'm in a place now where I feel I have like minded people around me for the most part.

I won't say I quit and gave up, I'll say I was beaten and left.  There is no way to flip 20 million plus people and fight the corruption in what life I have left.  Time to go enjoy my life elsewhere.

Mac, that wasn't directed at you, but you can use the Off Road community as my perfect example, as well as most of my friends that currently off road.  We(Off Roaders)are typically not active in government and don't want to be.  The Off Road community are rebellions of sort, voting has never been a focus until this last election.  Myself, I have worked on a few political campaigns since college as well volunteered tons a time for the ASA in the early years, and very involved in our local politics, so I get what you saying.  I also live in a very RED town in Ca, which I enjoy.   Bold statement or not, you are not the norm ( in a good way).

  13. Either way, everyone needs to vote.  We need to show we do have a voice, even though it is a minority voice.  The reason we are in this mess in California is the lack of our side having a voice and sitting on our hands.  The Conservatives in Ca for the past 30 years were just happy making money and enjoying the weather, we need to win this state back one vote at a time.  I guarantee a lot of the Ca haters that are now in Calizona did nothing with their votes in the past, running away is not the answer, we need to fix it, one thing for certain, change always happens, lets make it change the right way.

The recall, if anything will stop Nescum from running for President and remind the rest of the country to run away from CA Democrats.

    Where are you located?

wildomar.........................I think I am going to list on Craiglist, probably be a shiat show.  I want it gone fast.

FYI, it runs.  Tranny has some slipping, but the interior is thrashed (one window hasn't been rolled up in years with zero protection. It is free to any GD.com member.

  15. The hurdle I am running into it that it was last registered in Idaho (maybe 8 years ago).  Nobody wants to touch it in California.  I am about to drive it down the street and just park it.....geeze

I don't have 60 days for the most part, unless I want to store it my house.  My Dads house is going to get listed in the next 45 days.

Maybe I will post on Craiglist, free car come get it?
