Cleaning things up after last weeks Glamis trip. The wind wasn't bad so not to much to do. I really wanted to go this weekend to participate in the old school roundup but can't do two in a row.
8 year old granddaughter is coming to Disneyland for birthday and the family is going to stay with us so lots of fun on the horizon.

The family is at Glamis this weekend and is the last trip for this season. Our grandson starts soccer games next week so we will watch him play.
A thank you to " The Jessie " over on pad three for giving the grandson's a ride Saturday. They came back to camp all smiles and talked about how cool and fast and smooth your car is. Now they are saying Papa you need to get one of those! Lol
Now on to breakfast burritos with left over carnitas hash browns beans and what ever is around.
What a great weekend!

Along time ago He rode by our camp over on the west side. He was riding hard and yelling come ride with me. Well I jumped on my built 250 and took in after him. Being the expert rider that I am i knew it wouldn't take me long to catch up to him. He was shootin and roostin in all the sand dunes and there was noway i could keep up because

Where is this location? Sure the kids would love to spend sometime on it after 5-10mins of trash duty…
Check out this location: Teeter Totter at coordinates 32.972907, -115.107666.
Here is a map: BLM - Eastern Imperial County Route Map at Avenza Map Store.
He pinned it and said it is a little north of olds.- 1

Flew to Seattle yesterday and riding a new to me Harley back to San Jose. Spent the night in Medford OR. Trying to get motivated to hit the road. Want to get home in time to watch the Rams / 9ers game.
How about some pictures of the new ride?

The family took me out for lunch to a fish taco restaurant. Has some Cajon shrimp tacos and battered fish tacos that were really good. Then back to the house where my son had made a homemade banana cream pie and apple crumble for dessert. This papa is fat and sassy tonight.

Thanks for the ride, those dunes were awesome!
The body is to old to ride anymore, but we love going and watching the grandson's enjoying the dunes.
Sure miss the days on my 200x and 250r with the family and friends.

Not a fan, but I like what @Looney Duner says it keeps some out of the dunes.

Ok, long story and I’m going to cheat here. This is a pic of me and Cheyenne about 7 years ago. She’s passed about 3 years after this pic. After Cheyenne, I adopted a GSD/Rhodesian mix who folded into our family the first year but in year 2 started aggressive behavior and biting visitors. I started a year long regimen of training and aggression modification but nothing helped. After the mix bit my 38 year old son who he had been around since I adopted, I had no choice but to euthanize. It broke my heart. That was about 18 months ago. The poor pup had been abused and many trainers told me they sometimes never get over it. Now, maybe I’m ready again. Anyway, I am really jealous of everyone’s photos and look forward to posting fur pics of a new baby whenever I can get one. I believe in rescue but am thinking of a pup this time around.
Good luck with your search for a new pup quaddaddy. Its amazing how much joy and companionship they bring to the family.

Back in the 80’s when we had propane lanterns and Coleman cook stove we used a lot of those little bottles. I got tired of wasting money on those tanks so I made one of my own adapters to fill them from a 20# cylinder. As Jersey said it fills better and more full if you use needle nose pliers to release some pressure off the top.

At what gas price do we stop
in General Chat
Posted
When I got discharged in 1975 and gas went up from .39 to .59 cents a gallon and I said enough.
We made adjustments, changed some habits and still managed to enjoy the dunes.
Whats upsetting is it doesn't need to be this if the current administration would take charge.
