Is Phoenix Arizona on your radar? We have a handful of golf course communities here

not a chance! No offence to Phoenix, but it's not for me. We are getting tired of San Diego because its getting too big. Phoenix is packed!! Althought we have been looking at Havasu. But that would be a winter house.

  2. We are half ass throwing around the idea of buying a house outside of CA and hopefully making the move. I would like to buy a place on a golf course. I haven't traveled anywhere in the good ol' USA, hopefully that will change soon. But I would want a retirement friendly state. The plan is to keep a place in San Diego too.

Has anyone visited a cool areas that had reasonable priced housing on a golf course? I am open to hear the places you have visited/seen and were nice areas. Prices would need to be reasonable, whatever that means now-a-days.

I built a simulator about 6 months ago and love having it! I used a Skytrak and also have TGC19 software that has 1000’s of course to play. Screen is 9x12.

Skytrack seems very nice. If I had the room to build a proper simulator I would of looked into that model. How much room did you need for your setup? Where do you live?

I cant even imagine swinging a club inside the house.  Hell even without a ball Im sure Id break something.  LOL.

HAHAHA yeah we will see. So the guy I bought it from had it setup in his garage. He hit the foam balls. I told him I would rather hit real golf balls, so it has a better feel. So he said, "let try it and see how it works". Smacks the first ball............and hole in the drywall. LOL

He didn't account for how much give there was in the net. With the weight and speed of a real golf ball it hit the wall behind the net. I'll use the foam balls for now until I get a better net.

Let me know when you pick one, I would love to meet up and give it a try.  It’s the perfect set up to keep the swing lubed.  👍🏌🏾‍♂️

I picked up a used setup. Well, I will pick it up today. Pretty entry level but should be good enough to get a few swings in each day. I was going to just get a net to hit into. But really what is that going to do, other than I get to swing. I could imaging getting bad habits by just swinging and not really knowing whats going on. I found a guy selling a net, mat and Optishot2. I have done a little research on the Opitshot and it is entry level but it should work for what I want to do.

I'll give you an update once it is running.

  6. I was thinking about getting some sort of golf net or cheap simulator to get some swings in while at home. I want to hit real golf balls not foam ones. I don't have big open space or room so I was curious if anyone else has tried to make a practice area at home?

  7. That sounds like more of a PITA than making water for our saltwater aquarium. How about I just bring you a beer and you can wash my car? I am a Costco car wash guy and then a couple times a year I have my buddy the mobile detailer show up. Those swirly car washes are no worse than the Baja bushes for my Raptor. Now the new Bronco is a different story, the princess doesn't go through a car wash.

Great point, made me curious and these albums were also 1983

Mommy's Little Monster - Social Distortion

More Fun in the New World - X

Out of Step - Minor Threat

I didn't get into X until way later in life. When I was younger, I didn't understand how they were considered "punk rock". Well, I still don't think they are punk but I am a fan. We just saw them at the Music Box.

I don't think your Internet provider will affect all of those items as they all should be linked to a central server.

But if I took the Starlink dish on an RV trip, all the Wifi stuff at the house would shutdown, until I brought it back. Correct?
