Took my son to the zoo yesterday with his cub scouts.
I worked on some knives. I wanted to put a knife together for my dad and me for our elk hunt in a couple weeks. This is his first elk elk hunt so I wanted to do something special. I still need to finish them both but they are almost done. My knife is the one with green skins and my dad's has the wood ones.
Going to toss up some Halloween decorations this afternoon. I slacked this year and didn't put up the whole spread but need to toss something up

I had similar issue and it turned out to be a fuel pump. Made good pressure at idle but would fall on its face under a load.
I have had that issue too. I forgot about that one. Pump chewed itself apart inside. We found the problem on the dyno. Pressure was good till you put load on the motor

OK guys I got a 7mm rem mag Christiansen to break in.....get your shoulders ready....
Magnums are cool and all. Just not fun to shoot all day. I love my 300wm but it weighs 26#s so it's easy to shoot. A light magnum will kick your ass shooting all day

I helped my with wash and wax her car yesterday. There was something nasty all over the front facing surfaces. I changed the fuel filter on my truck. I Didn't end up doing much else.
This morning met up with @punkur67, he let me shoot a couple of his long range rifles. He is SUPER knowledgeable, very patient and explained things very well. First time out and I shot to 850 yards. I'm new to the long range stuff, having somone who knows what they are doing and has super bitchen equipment is SO helpful. THANKS Jeff!!
Going to cook up some Carne and Pollo later today for friends.
Happy to help. Welcome to the addiction!
Shot with @Bobalos this morning and and gave a crash course on shooting longer ranges. Also started the break in process on my new 6.5 SAUM barrel to get ready for my elk hunt next month while we were there.
Hosted a cub scout meeting after the range and had my firefighter buddy come talk to the kids. They loved it

Went to the range this morning with the wife and my dad to shoot the pistols. Always a great day shooting with family. We both took recent pistol training classes and they are really paying off
Finished building and planting our new raised garden and worked on the yard after shooting. More yard work and a family BBQ tomorrow

Did you check to make sure it wasnt built on a vw bug or pontiac fiero chassis?
No, but it was definitely a fiberglass kit car

If you can find the movie Ford versus Ferrari you can see what this car is all about. Was a history maker
Actually that movie is about the Shelby GT-40, not the AC cobra. But it's an awsome movie that tells the story about Carol Shelby

Where did you go? Looks nice with stands and backstop and stuff.
That equipment is nice. I've wanted to build something for "long range" but not sure i have the patience for it. Well.... that and I can't see for sheet and hate looking down a scope.
That's at Pala shooting range. I built what I thought was a long range gun 15 years ago. Then I decided to dive in about 2 years ago and have built several rifles since
