@ANGRYBUTTCRACK that’s awesome history, my Grandfather was a B-26 pilot served in both the Pacific and Europe theaters, it’s pretty much how I ended up as a Zonie. My pops served in Mountain Home ID during Vietnam as an ordnance loader for B47s in the SAC. I miss being around and talking to folks from the greatest generation.

This place has been my oasis for over 20 years I thank every single person, supporting vendor, and organization for that!

Wesinls nailed Gordons (baseball diamond reference is great!) , I think the info you got about the canal at Gordons was to stay to that side of the dunes when you first pull in. I also haven't been to Godons in 10+ years but I know once you get past the bathrooms on either direction following the canals you should be ok, I camped out there all the time before the closings in a 2wd 2500 and a 26' tag toyhauler. Obviously if your towing anything more than a small flatbed air down and your success rate will be much higher.

How many gallons is your pool, six pucks at a time is a boatload, your CYA must be through the roof!

On both of those you still have a pigtail connector you have to plug in correct! Or is the connection built into the base mount, like the SafeGlo’s were?
Correct its a small 3 pin weather proof connector on the 5150s

I’m pretty sure they are out of business. Phones disconnected. Someone asked on safeglo’s Facebook page, if they were still open as he could not get ahold of them, and that was over a year ago, and they never replied.
RIP SafeGlo
I liked the screw in RCA jack mounting. Anyone have any suggestions on another brand whip that might mount the same way? Or a whip they like? I don’t need changing disco lights, just a solid color.
@Whipsandshyt Makes some nice units, and board member!

Walnut Canyon should be your go to in Flag
Cottonwood - Drive up to Mingus Mountain, check out Jerome either on your way up or after Woodchute trail for lunch, not sure if the best burger is still in the old haunted hotel but that might be a nice stop.
MWB is right about Sedona too much to list but a place with not terrible traffic (its like La Jolla but worst) I would suggest Fay Canyon
Payson - Water Wheel falls, hike through the East Verde "river", it used to be real nice, I haven't been in 20 years though
Prescott - Willow Dells Slickrock trail loop is pretty cool, might be a bit warm, like Sedona will be this time of year
I don't know chit about ShowLow always seemed like a boring and flat place to me unless you wanted to golf or catch stocked fish

"prevent 7,500 air-quality related deaths and 6,000 hospitalizations and emergency room visits from 2023 to 2050"

Not that it is a fix for your Verizon wireless issue but if you have decent wireless internet change your phone to wifi calling enabled. I have to do the same at my house but it works well, never have an issue, unless of course the internet is out.

Id 2nd Squatcher, I live off i-17 and the 303, great hiking and mtb trails at the Phoenix Sonoran Preserve which are walking/biking distance from my house. Lake Pleasant is only 15 min away, tons of off road within 10-15 mins away, flag is a 90 min drive when traffic cooperates, 4 hours to LV. I do envy my buddy in Buckeye since he is almost an hour closer to the dunes but other than that I have live in N Phx for over 30 years, the only think that sucks about this part of town is very few good non chain restaurants, Chandler/East Valley has much better food options but i prefer to live in an area a little less flat.

Title says it all
I am looking for someone to help out around the shop here and there, anywhere from 4 to 15 hours a week maybe. Could be more, could be less. We are a welding shop, but dont do any of the big structural stuff or pretty tig jobs. We can do those, but its not the norm. Mostly looking for someone who can help with installs, can learn how do to the basics of mig welding with 16ga - 1/4" material (tube, sheets, angle, strap, plate, etc) and of course grinding/sanding. We have a lot of work right now and its just too much for my partner and I to handle alone. Would be great to have an extra set of hands available.
We have workmans comp, run payroll every two weeks, and a fully stocked fridge haha. Located in the PHX area
Where in phoenix are you located? My son already has a job at Frys 20~ hrs a week but he is a senior in high school and this might be a good opportunity for him for him to get some exposure to a trade (other than electrical and demo work which he has done) or decide if he is serious about going to university.
