  1. Competing with the background noise of a UTV, plus the complete lack of enclosure to the cab, I'd not waste money on the stereo.  It's only going to sound good when parked.  At speed, it's never going to sound "right" with all the other competing soundwaves canceling half the spectrum completely at random.  In-helmet would be the way to go unless the entire reason for it is to sound good when parked for everyone to "enjoy".

  2. Push buttons, spin dials, set everyone to the same freq. If you’re on a random made up channel, when you get to Glamis or wherever, best to turn it on and listen for a bit to make sure you’re not stepping on some hospital’s radio or something

It only put down a bit over 700 RWHP, on what is said to be a stingy dyno.  That's plenty for this car (and me) but I know it's nothing by today's standards. ;)

We called the title company this morning to check on the wire. They said it's going out this morning. They just called us back and said the wire came back because there was NO NAME on the ACCT. Are You EFFN kidding me?! I handed this lady a check and she got all the info off of the check. She forgot to put our names on the wire. Nothing on this sale has been smooth. Except for shutting off the water / power! Well, back to loading up! Peace

Last house change for us was a similar shiatshow. Seems common...

Try it with a cigarette butt that someone drops out their car window. "Excuse me you seem to have dropped this" as you toss it on their lap . . .

I would never...  Ever... Do that.  Not me. :classic_ninja:

I see the point of the sign and drive being easy access for the hood rats. On the other hand, how many families are able to join in on our fun if it wasn’t for the ease of financing? There have been quite a few members coming back to the desert lately and most in a SXS. Is it because of financing? Is it because they are a multi use toy not like a sand car? Regardless of all the hood rats being able to buy a toy or not, in the end, they are still a hood rat. Is it the way they were raised? Who knows but toy or not they will still be littering. This falls under all colors and races that go out there. On a side note, I feel Polaris should be responsible for a clean up party after camp RZR. They raked in more than enough dough for that party!

SxS's main advantage, other than financing, is they're not fussy.  The amount of work it takes to keep a buggy going isn't for everyone.  Lots of friends have wanted to get into the sport, and my recommendation to the guys who don't have fun working on chit is always a SxS.

We would but we live in the sticks and nobody comes out this far and even if they did I'd shoot trespassers so it's best that they stay the F away anyhow...

That one.  Damned near a 1/4 mile walk to my neighbor's door.  Nope.

We decorate and hand out candy, but the numbers have dwindled to less than 12 families - all on this or next block  - kinda sad its just us and one other family that decorates or hands out on this block

Friends a couple towns over in Manhattan Beach  get 400-500 kids (bused in from mostly Hawthorne and inglewood)

This was my old neighborhood.  We go back every year to visit with old neighbors.  This year the lazy facks slowly drive down the street with their hazards on and the kids shuffle in and out.  WTF?  Either wait on a street corner somewhere for them to come back while they walk their happy asses around for candy, or get off your ass and walk with them.  People man.

I heard that ifin you wanted to, there were lots of empty dunes to rip.

Always are.  Nice thing about this current crowd of SxS owners is they don't really venture off of "trails", as if that were a thing in the dunes...
