  1. Jett is on another level this season but it makes for boring racing. Start and first 3 laps are interesting and after that, not so much. Was the same for outdoor as well. Hopefully a few will step up and at least make it interesting.:classic_biggrin::peace:

Wed,  with permission I drove my tractor through a persons property to get my tractor to a land locked parcel and rented it to a neighbor. Once neighbor was finished I had to drive my tractor back across first neighbors 5 acre dirt lot with a home on it. The pad is mostly level but had a little erosion going on so i decided to be nice a take a few passes on their dirt. There was one little section that had a slight hill of dirt. 6” high by 8 feet across. I thought a would just level that out

well I tore off the top and 12” of the septic tank riser. 40 year old lady came out freaking out. What is that?  I told her that’s were her poop goes. She goes back in the house and I see her taking video of me. I’m like this is not good. No good deed goes unpunished. The guy who rented the tractor bought a new piece and so today (Saturday) I went up and fixed it

a crappy way to start my weekend. I have better things to do later today

Sketchy driving over a septic tank depending on how big your tractor is.

Alumicraft is on my list of cars to drive, older and newer. Anyone can tell me the main differences/improvements they have made? Any info would be appreciated. Id love to do a write up on one

If my memory serves me correctly, back in 1999 Alumicraft offered a four seat rear engine and a two seat mid engine sand car along with a four seat prerunner. At that time Honda was the preferred power plant. 1 1/2” chromoly tube and Bilstein or Fox coilover shocks.  Sand cars were not offered with power steering at that time. Here is a pic of an early Alumicraft. This was their first car with an LS in it.

Was '06 the only one with this issue?  Or the years prior as well?

04,05,06 all had the same oiling issue. Lack of oil to the rod bearing. Upgrade kit is available for around $300 but requires that you remove the side case.

  5. Have to ask. Why do you hate your job? Are you being treated unfairly/poorly? It is easy to get into the mindset of hating your job when you allow yourself to get wrapped up in company politics and decision making that may or may not affect you. Having a positive mental approach to your workplace (everything actually) and training yourself to not get worked up over issues that do not directly impact you may improve your outlook. Many take the job home with them and cannot disconnect which adds to the stress. Having said that, if you can afford to chase your dream, go for it. Life is short.
