  1. My baby ripped all weekend!

Man, all went well until wife got the MoHo stuck pulling out from the spot. Sheeeesh! Aired way down on the drive wheels, shoved remaining fire wood under the tires and voila! Sorry no pics just pointers there. My kids love riding Sunday when all the washes clear out, they get to ride freely! I let em' rip!

    All the above is correct

are you trying to use it just with the hand held mic? Should work no problem

the reason I ask is I don’t think that radio is linked to your intercom. It would be good to check, do you have a ptt button or a connection between the 2.

you can always call pci for assistance

Great question! Everything in the manual for setup is asking to use the handheld which I don't think I have. I did connect it to my intercom via that little phone wire which also has a 1.5mm jack for music. Not sure I'll be able to set it up without the handheld. I need to look in the box it all came in.

You can go to Icom and download the manual or PCI should be able to point you in the right direction if you give them a call, you can also download PCI stock channel list on their website. All the new radios from PCI come with a channel number not the frequency but their list gives the frequency and name of each channel as well as what areas that channel is okay for, some channels are Baja only and some are nation wide others are area specific. Good luck

Awesome! Found the owners manual and trying to understand it now. Thanks!

153.365 Is named ENDURO, not a very common channel, it's in bank 3 of most radios.

As Spills posted, those are most common channels, you need to find a common one with who you are riding with.

Usually they are programed with names, Channel in the list is a very common crowded channel as is 7-11.

What model is that radio? It's not a newer Icom.

Looks like it's an icom 2200h, I tried YouTube but results were all like from the Philippines where dude says 1 word in English lol

There is likely a YouTube video or 7 that will explain the basic operation if you search for your radio model number. But the knob on the left is probably volume and the knob on the right is to change frequency. Those 6 numbers are the the frequency that the radio is tuned to. There are master lists like this that have what the corresponding channels are labeled on most rugged radios. The names of the channels can vary based on which year and model you have.

    There are more examples here:

Dial up a common channel in your garage and you should be able to test it before going out.

Aha! Yes yes! Ok, I'll search up the ol' YouTube. Thanks 👌

  6.

So, I finished my car up last season and barely got to do a quick shake down. I'm going out this weekend and would love to hear something coming through this thing to make sure it works. I've poked around it some but can't seem to figure it out. Any tips or pointers? I turned it on here at home and I'm only getting some random channels that are like 6 digits long. I don't know chit about this thing.

Another question, will it communicate with a rugged radio? Or more specifically a rugged handheld? I have a couple of those. Any help is appreciated 🙏 thanks!

    Sorry for the bad pic.

SxS all need helmets but buggies don't?

Interestingly, heard there was plenty of Pro R drivers exercising their right to not be required a helmet due to the code being written for under a certain engine CC size. Pro R are 2.0 engines and some dared to call them a sand car.

  8. What's a pink?

I only know of a Certificate of Title (in California) or a Certificate of Origin from manufacturer.

No back fees as long as it's never been actually registered, but will need a bill of sale from the name on Certificate. If it's a Cali Certificate of title it may show year first registered so watch for that. You can also look for sticker residuals on the bike just as a precaution.

Edited to add: no back fees because it's NEVER been off private property

i do get that people suck, my how do we address it more was a question of the people that are doing it, you are not like them but get lumped in with the stereotype. the stereotype would not be a stereotype if it was not a common occurrence. you dont want us to blame a group, as you are part of that group but not a part of the problem group. that part is what got you mad, and i understand that,  its a behavior issue not a race issue but those behaviors are coming more from a group. there are lots of videos all over social media from the weekend, fights and trash. we see these things in the washes the hill and the drags, but we dont see those issues at places like swingset, china wall, hotshot. im not trying to make anyone mad or personally attack but i just dont see another way to address the common theme with the issues.

im all for more enforcement, all my stuff is legal and i dune sober. of course i dont want to get stopped by the rangers. but if me getting stopped here and there means that the ones that are the issue are also getting stopped then im ok with that.

Definitely! I'm good with that enforcement too. I still remember it in the early 00's and the correction shortly after.

I didn't get mad per se, but I wanted to make clear that just because they are listening to a certain type of music and flying a certain type of flag, automatically means they are trashing the place. I'm not defending the scumbags. Matter of fact, they're not welcome in my camp. Boy have times changed though. I'm starting to believe it's a SxS thing, too now after reading some other's perspectives. Polaris to blame some too, maybe. New generation, maybe. Sucks all around.

i was asking a real question wanting to try and an actually conversation, yet you bring up something that has nothing to do with off roaders or glamis. just to try and show some point.

So, did you miss my point? People suck! Everywhere. As for your "real" question that I missed, how else do we address it? I've not once said I was against enforcement. Matter of fact I welcome it. What solution did you mention? Because unfortunately, you can't just throw those people out.

Parenting is a HUGE advantage for kids respecting others and the property of others. Job well done Chingon619. And to other parents who have raised the kids to Respect. Peace

Mornin' Cheff, yea man. Surprisingly, my kids were naturals. Maybe because I'm always preaching lessons around them. It's the extended fams and their friends that I had to teach, sometimes in the most rudest way. My favorite is around the campfire lol I'll get up and say "I'm going to take your empty beer can to the recycle bag and grab me another beer from the cooler right next to it, you should try that next time". Some have went to bed right after, and some take it extremely well and say "my bad".

my self and other have said the same thing, feel kinda bad about lumping everyone in together as there are good people that share the same characteristics like yourself BUT those are the ones causing alot problems, how else can we address it? more times than not the stereotype checks out. there were camps by us this weekend playing loud banda all night and setting off fireworks using a certain flag for a whip, after they left we went and cleaned up the trash they left. the other camps around us picked up after themselves. group infront us of at the hill, same music playing super loud in their cars, same whip, throwing beer cans on the ground as they reach in their ice chest to get another one.

Facebook hinted at a similar event. Check it out. I wonder how many of these folks were there to hear the "Banda Music" oh, that's right! It wasn't one of those events.

  13.         I am definitely all up in that stereotype but play no part. My whole family flies that Mexican flag proudly to which I don't understand and have constant friendly arguments and jabs about it. I am a proud American and respect the dunes more than most. If you disrespect ol' Momma G in front of me, I'll be in your face regardless of what you look like. They have learned way back since the first trip I took them there. Now I'm proud to see them correcting others. Believe me, nobody wants to be stereotyped but hey, that's life. Just know that because they are flying a different flag in this great free country, doesn't mean they are trashing the place either but you do you.
